Chapter 22

**heres your chapter, just like I promised :) I am so sorry it took so long, I've been piled with homework all week and last weekend my friend from BC was here again. Also, on top of that, ive been sick for a few days now :/ Thanks to everyone who has been so patient. I know I don't update as often as I used to, I just started grade 9 and its hard to get used to. Thank you all so much for reading <3**

Raines POV

A warm hand rubbing my back pulls me into consciousness. Im pressed up against a warm chest, listening to a heartbeat. My feet are tangled with another pair and I feel warm breaths on the top of t head. I must have fallen asleep whilst waiting for Niall to wake up.

Speaking of which, as soon as I look up from my position, I'm greeted by a pair of ocean blue eyes staring down at me. Niall smiles down at me and gently kisses my forehead. "How are you feeling?" I ask him.

Niall shrugs "I've been better. Perrie came in about an hour ago and took my bandages off" he turns his head to the side. Where the teeth marks were, there is now only little scars.

He pulls himself up into a sitting position, still cuddling me in his arms. "I've missed this" he whispers into my hair. Just as our lips connect, the door bursts open and in runs Harry, Louis and Zayn followed by Liam.

Harry tosses me my phone and I see that I have one new text. I unlock it, and read it over, my eyes going wide in horror.

Unknown: I know you're back, that's why I sent the demon to kill your family.

Before I can shut the screen off, Niall snatches the phone out of my hand and reads the text. I have to take the device back from him before he loses it and whips my phone across the room.

He stays silent for a minute, and I'm starting to get scared. When I look up at his face, I can practically see steam coming from his ears. His fists are clenched so hard his knuckles are turning white.

"Are you alright man? You're turning red" Zayn asks after a while. I almost forgot the boys were here. "I'm fine" Niall snaps and Zayn puts up his hands in defense.

"Ni, it's alright. You can calm down" I try to calm him down, but to no avail. "It's not alright Raine! This is the creep who almost killed you! Now he's after you and I'm sure as hell not going to loose you again!" He yells.

I kiss his cheek gently. "I know Niall. Don't worry, I'm trained to kill demons, I think I can handle an old guy" I joke to lighten the mood.

Niall sighs. "I believe you" he says after a moment of hesitation. Suddenly, my phone begins to vibrate beside me. I pick it up and look at the caller ID.

"It's from Unknown again, big surprise there" I say sarcastically. I show the boys just to prove my point.

"Ohmygod! Can I mess with them?!" Louis shouts excitedly. I roll my eyes and hand him the phone. "Hello? This is Victoria's Secret" he says into the device in a terrible Indian accent.

The person replies, but we can't hear what they're saying. "Raine? I know Raine! It's the stuff that falls from the sky!" Lou continues. The person barks a short reply.

"So, lets cut straight to the point. Your order of black lace undergarments have arrived from, erm, Alaska! Would you like to come pick them up today?" I have to bury my face into Niall's jumper to stifle my laughter.

"So can you describe what this person looked like?" My younger sister asks. I shrug. "He had a really scarred face, like he used fight. His eyes were really creepy too. Beady little things" I shiver at the memory.

"Do you remember where you first saw him?" She asks again. I rake my brain for a moment before answering. "I can't recall where we were. I met him at a coffee shop though, if that counts for anything" I shrug.

"I'm sure we can track him down" says Liam, somewhat distracted by Harry and the group of kids as they race past us. They run to the end of the hallway, until Harry runs right into a closed door.

Harry falls right on his behind, rubbing his forehead in pain. Louis runs over and picks his best friend up bridal style, carrying him off to god knows where

I roll my eyes at them and turn back to my siblings. "If we're gonna catch this guy, we'll need a plan"

Louis's POV

"Are you sure that this is gonna work?" I ask Raine. She gives me an 'are you stupid' look and drags me into the coffee shop.

The guy called back again after I messed with him and asked Raine to meet him at the local coffee shop.

Since there is no way that any of us would allow her to go alone, well that's where I come in. I'm going to be sitting across the shop with Briana, eavesdropping on their conversation.

Niall and Liam are waiting outside, just in case the guy tries to make a run for it. Perrie is with them, ready to cast a spell on the bystanders.

Harry and Zayn have a van around the corner, ready to make a quick escape if necessary.

The door jingles as I push it open. I make sure not to acknowledge Raine as I was over to where Briana is sitting. I can't help but smile to myself.

This plan is fool proof. Well, at least I think it is.

**holy crap!! I am soooo sorry this took so long. I have been feeling like absolute crap lately and I've been really tired from getting up so early to go to school. Ugh! Grade 9 sucks! So anyways, thanks to everyone who is still reading this, I know I that I'm like almost two weeks late from when I told you I'd update. Again I am so sorry. Plz
