Prolog: Elena Gilbert had it all until her parents died going of the Wickery bridge in Mystic Falls Virginia. After the accident Jeremy(Elena's younger brother) and Elena's aunt moved in with them, Jenna. They will soon learn why Elena was the only one who survived the car crash of the bridge. Elena's P.O.V

As my alarm sound blasted through my room at 5:00 in the morning, i got ready for my first day of school.

I wore a simple yellow sundress with a cut out back with a brown belt. My shoes were white lacey toms. I drove to school in my shiney new silver volvo. When I got out I leaned onto the hood of my car and soaked up the sun while I waited for my best friends Caroline and Bonnie. After awhile I went inside to my locker. When I got there, Bonnie was already waiting for me to arrived. When I walked up Bonnie took my hand and asked how I was. I'm better. "good" she replied as Caroline walked up. After we caught up we all walked to history together. We got the best seats in the back. Good for talking. As the bell rang for second period me and Bonnie walked to spanish. During spanish we talked about our summers. Bonnie said that she spent most of her summer at her grams house. "So, can me and Caroline come over after school today? I have something to show you guys." Sure! What kind of friend would I be if I said no? "Thanks, see you then."

Once we were all settled in my room, Bonnie showed us a pretty exciting thing for her. She used magic, she made the feathers she had torn out of my pillow float. Even if this is beginning magic, it's pretty exciting for her and Caroline. Unlike my magic witch I was born with, Bonnie's acester chose her to be a witch. The Bennett blood line. So my magic is more powerful because I was born with them. O.MY.GOD! Caroline screamed, we didn't know your grams was telling the truth about you being a witch!

Elena. I've been watching her for awhile now. After I saved her in that horrible car crash of Wickery bridge. At first, I thought she was Katherine. But watching her over the summer, has said wrong. She is sweet and nothing like Katherine, ever was, or is.

Damon's P.O.V

Elena, I want to meet her Stefan. "No Damon, I don't want you to hurt anyone here. I want you to leave Damon, and never come back. Everywhere you go people die!" Oh come on brother! You know I will meet her eventually! Would you rather introduce me, or I could introduce myself. "Fine Damon, but leave her alone afterwards, you don't need to be here." I promised you a lifetime of misery brother. And i'm here to keep this promise.

Bonnie's P.O.V (next day)

When me and Elena were walking to our lockers we pasted the office. It looks like we have a new student. What do you think he looks like. "I don't know, I can only see his back"Elena said. Well, it's a hot back. As Elena left for her locker, I stayed and watched. When he left his arm brushed against me. Something was weird, and I couldn't tell what. But it was wrong.
