New chapter guys! I hope you like it!

~Juli Kidman~

"So the guy was murdered by his own patient?" Sebastian asked, but Juli could tell that he didn't actually care about who had killed the doctor at the hospice they had just visited. "That's kind of ironic, judging by the fact that he was trying to help the bastard who took his life."

Kidman just walked alongside her two partners in silence.

"Sebastian, let's not make jokes about the guy that just died, ok?" Joseph was writing something in his notepad while they walked towards the car. Juli usually asked herself how he was able to know where he was going without even looking; it was curious.

"Oh, come on. I wasn't..." Sebastian began, but the female detective interrupted him by clucking her tongue in annoyance.

"Let's go boys." She said in a low voice as she got in the car. "I don't want to be here more than I need to."

Joseph and Sebastian glanced at her, watching she adjusting her seatbelt. She heard them exchanging a few words regarding her 'humor', but didn't pay much attention. Soon after both entered the car and they drove off. They still had to write a report about the incident at the Hospice before they could go home, so they had to stop by the central PD.

I wonder how Marcelo's research is going, Juli thought looking out the window. She wasn't focusing on anything outside, she just didn't want to look at her partners and have them trying to start a conversation with her. Is the girl still alive?

Suddenly her phone buzzed inside her pocket. It was a text from Tatiana.

[From Gutierrez: Jimenez needs to talk to you. You should drop by the Hospital ASAP.]

Juli rolled her eyes as she read the message. I shouldn't have thought about these people. It's like a curse.

"Sebastian, can you drop me at Beacon Mental Hospital? There's something I need to investigate." She looked at Castellanos. "It's important."

The man simply nodded, and Joseph looked back at her.

"Do you want me to tag along?" He asked over his shoulder, he had a shy smile threatening to show in his face. "In case you need back up."

Kidman shook her head as to say 'no', but subtly smiled back him.

"I'll call you if I...ever get in any trouble." She said, and he nodded turning to face the road again. Sebastian laughed shortly at her response, but didn't say anything. She noticed a slight shade of pink tinting Joseph cheeks, but didn't say anything. She took her cellphone and began typing at it.

Maybe he had a crush on her, she thought. Maybe he was just too shy. It was a pity she didn't really care.

[To Gutierrez: Tell him I'll be there shortly.]

A few minutes later Sebastian stopped the car at the Hospital's entrance and she got out. She watched them while they distanced from her, and only when the car went out of view she walked toward the front door of the building.

As expected, Marcelo was waiting her right at the stairway entrance of the Hospital looking frightened. He seemed like someone who's life was being threatened.

"Finally!" Was the first thing he said before grabbing her by the arm and guiding her around the Hospital's main building. After almost two minutes walking all the way to the back of the building Kidman pulled her arm away from the doctor's grasp and stopped where she was.
