Aaliyah woke up, as her younger sister, Riya came in her room chirping "Didi, wake up it's morning!"

Aaliyah got out of her bed and Riya got on the bed and snuggled in with the pillow. "Riya, you woke me up and now you are gonna sleep? That's not fair!" Aaliyah whined like a baby.

Riya just laughed at her older sister's childish behavior and said "Everything is fair in love and war, dids and it love all around for you now!"

Aaliyah was confused and asked Riya what she meant by that.

"Well didi, I heard mom and dad talking about your marriage and we are going to dad's friends house today for dinner."

"What?! You are joking right riya?" Aaliyah questioned in shock.

"No dids, you can even go and ask them." Riya said back.

Aaliyah ran to the bathroom and took a quick shower and got ready and went downstairs to find her mom. "Mom, we need to talk right now!"

"Well good morning beta, what happened to you?" her mom replied.

"How can you do this to me mom?! Without even asking me you guys just plan everything out?" Aaliyah cried.

"What are you talking about Aali?"

"Mom, Riya came and told me about the dinner we are going to and my marriage!"

"Oh, so the big mouth did tell you huh? Well don't worry beta, we know the guy and he is really nice and his family is our good family friend." Said her mother in a calm voice.

"Mom, I don't want to get married yet, I'm only 22 and I want to enjoy my life!" Yelled Aaliyah.

"What's going on here?" She heard her dad say.

"Daddy, please don't do this to me!" Aaliyah whined to her father in a childish way.

"Beta, we are not going to get to married right away, we are just gonna fix the marriage and then after a few months when you guys know each other, you will get married." Explained her dad.

Aaliyah still didn't want this to happen but she couldn't do anything so she just stood there. "And Aali, the boy isn't that bad my child, he's quite good looking I'm sure you will like him, just meet him once."

Aaliyah knew it was no help talking to her parents because they were still gonna make her meet him so she gave up and walked up to her room.

It can't be so bad can it? she thought in her head.

While she was sitting on her bed she heard someone coming in her room. "Oh, hi bhabhi!" Aaliyah said getting up.

"Hey, mom sent me up here to tell you to pick out a cute Indian dress for tonight." Said her sister-in-law.

"Got it bhabhi." Aaliyah replied in a sad tone.

"Awe, what happened to our little happy-go-lucky girl?"

"I don't want to do all this. I'm scared I don't know what will happen there." Aaliyah said.

"Don't worry Aali, I was scared too when I had to meet your brother for the first time, but everything went well and anyways look at us now, how happy we are and we got a little one coming on the way and everyone loves me too." Explained her bhabhi, Kavya.

"You are right bhabhi and hopefully this turns out to be good." Aaliyah said feeling a little better by her bhabhi's words.

Her bhabhi told her to cheer up and start getting ready, knowing that Aaliyah takes forever to get ready and then her she left.

Aaliyah went to the bathroom and freshened up, then she picked out a blue dress and started getting ready. As she wore the dress, she started checking herself out in the mirror.

Damn, Aali you can pull off the sexy look even with Indian outfits. She thought in her head. She had a diamond necklace on that sparkled like the stars through the light. Her make-up perfectly done with a natural look. She was about to grab her purse and go down but her mom walked in.

"Stunning beta, you look beautiful!" Her mother said.

"Thanks mom, well I'm ready so let's head out?" Aaliyah said.

Aaliyah's mother wonders how did her mind change since she was whining in the morning but whatever made her change her attitude made her mom happy. Aaliyah followed her mom as she got out the room and walked down the stairs.

Everyone was ready and they headed to the car and got to their friend's house. "Here we are!" Said Aaliyah's dad.

Aaliyah took a deep breathe and followed her dad to the entrance of the house that seemed to be like a mansion. She rang the door bell and a guy opened the door. Aaliyah stood there shocked and surprised by the person that she saw there.
