Hey Guys! Since this is THE BEGINNING, I felt that I needed a little intro... So here it goes!

Dear readers,

This is my second story, but my first that isn't a fanfiction from another book. I'm also very excited to finally be inspired enough to actually find something that I like enough to write.

So, I have to thank my buddies Wisegirl23 and TeamLeo101 for some ideas and tips. Without them, I wouldn't have even discovered Wattpad so ya. Thanks guys!

(Yes, I know that it's a weird name.)

I hope that this is one if the few author's notes that I'll write so please don't get turned off from this. I don't normally talk this much in just one chapter thing.

Hey, I'm Banks, Destiny Banks. I'm no normal kid. I'm a witch. Yup, a witch. And a terrible one too. You see, witches have to start somewhere. You have to learn spells and classic things before you can start concocting potions.

Since recently, you would start learning spells in your freshman year if high school- where you go to chemistry class and learn important athletic skills in PE that you need in life. According to my sister Margaret. But now we even have to start teaching Becks.

Quick life explanation: We live in Massachusetts (Ya, I know that you're thinking,"Oh! A witch in Massachusetts!"). We all were runaways from home and eventually met up. There's five of us- all girls.

We are all basically sisters but Margaret and I are the only ones by blood. Living with us is Rebecca (Becks) who's 6, Gretchen who's 14 and overly athletic, Amilia the popular person who's 15- but she's turning 16 soon, Margaret the amazing spell caster at 18, and me; Destiny who's 15 and is good at nothing. Unless failing counts.

Recently, however, things have gone wrong. Evil spirits called "Turns" have been appearing. Turns like to appear in objects that have reflections, such as a mirror or even a rain puddle. They try to take over you and turn you into something evil. Creepy.

And that blasted me as I tried to sleep. How would we defeat them? Could we defeat them? But even harder to think about was how to fit in at school. Tomorrow was Monday, the most tough day at school.
