I hate transatlantic flights. I woke up to my older brother Matt shaking me and yelling at me to wake up and something else about landing in London. I'm only half awake at the moment but i'm awake enough to feel the horrible pain that shot through my neck as I tried to get up. Great, I thought. My pillow was nowhere in sight, which means it must've fell out some time while I was asleep and the result? A crick in my neck.
London, London, London. That's all anybody in my family had talked about all week. Personally I have nothing against London. But I did have a lot against being the new girl. I wasn't socially awkward or anything actually I was the complete opposite. I just don't like being new anywhere PERIOD.
"Are you just gonna stare at me or move your butt?" Asked Matt mockingly.
I hadn't realized I was staring at him until he mentioned it.
"I think I'll just sit here and stare at you," I said just to irritate him. And it had obviously worked since he shoved me out of my seat.
I landed in the aisle on my bum and the impact between my butt and the ground of the plane shocked me out of my half asleep phase.
"I'm gonna mess up your face," I said pouncing on him.
My dad pulled me off before I could really deform his face. Matt and I were always fighting. Whether in Public or at home. We fought whenever we got the chance.
"Was it really necessary to make a scene?" Asked my mom shaking her head. I looked aroung to find a few eyes on us. We Had only just arrived in the UK yet we've already caused my parents' enough embarrassment to last them a few years.
I grabbed my carry on bag and headed for the exit towards London City Airport.
This airport was beyond busy. We followed the signs towards the Baggage Claim. Most of our other stuff was already shipped before us. We only had like three bags we were going to get from the baggage claim and then we'd be on our way to that new place I'd have to call home from now on.

"Okay this definatley isn't mine," I said eyeing the contents of the bag which totally didn't belong to me. I zipped it up and placed it back on the conveyor belt. My Luggage looked exactly like that one. it was red with a tiny goldish colored plate near the top that had Victorinox Carved into it. That was the name of the brand.
All I wanted to do was find my bags and head to our new house and just sleep for the rest of the day. I was Jetlagged and I also haven't slept much on the plane. I stayed up and watched movies the whole time.
"Hey watch where you're going!" I excaimed as some chick bumped into me and made me hit my hip against the metal part of the baggage claim place.
"Maybe you should get outta my way," The girl retaliated not looking at me.
I was ready to slap the smart out of that girls mouth until I realized how familiar that voice sounded.
But then I decided against that thought. Maybe I was just so sleepy I was randomly hearing strangers speak in my friends' voices?
Then again how many people bump into you and then tell you that you should've moved out of their way. I only knew one person who did that. The one and only..
