A sleepless night with Dan

chapter 5

Phil's p.o.v.

After a few weeks Dan was allowed to go home. We rode home on the bus and I unlocked the door. "Welcome home Dan." I smiled. The complete living room was covered in balloons and streamers. "Pj, Chris and I decorated the whole place while you were at the hospital." I continued. "I really have the best boyfriend in the world."
Dan whispered.

He leaned forward to kiss me but I immediately retreated. "I also made malteser cake." I said my face heating up. His eyes went wide with excitement: "Malteser cake?" "Yes Dan. Malteser cake. Would you like a piece?"I asked him. "A piece? No. The whole cake? Bring it on baby." He answered.

After we/he ate the whole cake Dan got tired and went to bed. It wasn't that late so I decided to take a nighttime stroll in the park. After a few minutes of walking a saw a lonely girl sitting on a bench. She was crying.

I sat down next to her and she looked up. She had two different colored eyes one was a golden brown and the other was a light shade of blue. "Are you okay? You look sad." I asked her. She put a strand of blueish hair behind her ear. "No, I don't feel good. I'm sad because my boyfriend just broke up with me." She told me. "He must be a real idiot to hurt such a beautiful girl like you."I replied. "He was a big turd. He cheated on me with my sister and then broke up with me." She said. "My name is Phil and I hope you will find someone who treats you better." "My name is Mallory."

We talked for a few hours and it started to get dark. "I really have to go now. I guess I will see you another time Mallory." And I got up. "Phil. I am going to be honest we only know each other for a few hours but I really like you..." Mallory said.

"Mallory I hmmpf..." I started to say but got cut of by Mallory who suddenly kissed me. I froze and waited for her to pull away but she didn't. I pulled back and stared at her in shock. "Would you like to sleep with me tonight? You don't have to call me or even talk to me afterwards. Just 'give me a good time' as they say." She bluntly asked. She tried to stay calm but the despair still made it's way into her voice. "Yes I will but I won't text or call you." I said roughly. "Come on I will take you to my hotel room for tonight." Mallory said while taking my hand and pulling me with her.
