It was the first day of school for Me.
I woke up in excitement as I wanted to meet and make new friends.
By the way, I'm Alexis. Just an average girl in school. I'm now 12 and this is a story of my life in primary school.
On the first day, My mum and dad help me get changed into my uniform and clipped on the tag with me name, class and bus number on it. And my parents took their day off to observe what I do in school, although they can only talk to me when I'm in the canteen. LOL.
In the morning, everyone assembled at the multi purpose hall (MPH) and my mum took pictures of me there. When we went to class, the teacher had told us that on the 2nd day of school, we will be partnered with Primary 3 students who will bring us around the school or tell us more about the school and help us. So, the teacher gave us cards which has our buddy's name printed on it.
On the second day, I had met many people and for some reason, I became BFFS with Yu Ying, and average girl like me. We had some lessons until recess.....
"OUR BUDDIES ARE HERE!!!" I exclaimed.
Then, we were instructed by the teacher to find our buddies and introduce ourselves to our buddies.
After introducing each other, we headed off to recess.
When I reached the canteen, it was filled with many parents and students. Too bad that the parents had to stand at the side, behind the 'fence'.
I tried to find my parents but I couldn't find them. So, I decided to buy my food first. For the first time, I used a wallet with my OWN pocket money inside. The wallet had a barbie doll design as I was in LOVE with barbie dolls back then. When I was queueing up, my buddy was with me the whole time so I wasn't that nervous in ordering.
While I was eating my noodle, someone called out to me name, "Alexis!" It was my parents. They were also trying to find me. So, I rushed to them and said hi. After talking to them, I went back to the table I was sitting at and continued eating.
Then, my buddy and I went around the school and saw my buddy's "enemy". When he said that we looked alike and said that we were sisters, I started chasing him and punching him and he was scared. So he ran away. Lol....
On the third day, it was our last day with our buddies. And my parents were not allowed to come to school anymore. So I started making friends and played with each other during recess.
