My parents were out of town for the weekend, so I decided to have some friends over. It was raining super hard, so that meant we had to do something inside. "Ooh, I know. Maybe we could play a board game or something?" My twin sister, Stella suggested. Conner laughed and said, "Come on Stella, what are we 10?" Then we all started pitching out ideas until Raven had, I guess, a good one. "How about we play a little game of Bloody Mary?" She said mischievously as she leaned on the bookshelf. "I don't think that that's a really good idea." I said. Even though I was almost 16, I was, what my friends called me, a 'little chicken.' "Come on, B! Stop being such a wuss. We all know that it isn't real. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?" Andy, my long time crush, said as he put his arm around my shoulders. Then a huge thunder sounded, causing me to jump and the lights gave out. Great! Now I'm really terrified. But they kept begging me, so I gave in anyway.

When the bathroom had an 'appropriate' amount of candles, we went in. It's a good thing there was only five of us because it was a pretty small bathroom. And, of course, they put me, of all the people, stand in front of the mirror. "Can't someone else stand here?" Raven laughed, "Nope, just you. I'm going to say a protection ritual for 'safety.' After I'm finished I will say 'Bloody Mary are you there?' Then a single candle should blow out. I'll then count to three, and we'll all say 'Bloody Mary' at the same time, three times. After I'll say 'Bloody Mary, come and play.' Then we'll see what happens from there. Got it? Good." Well, she made it seem as if she's done this before. I was about to say it until Stella beat me to it, "Have you done this before, Rave?" In response she cleared out her throat. I was just about to back out until Andy grabbed my hand. I turned back at him, but Raven started.

After she said her 'protection chant' she said, "Bloody Mary are you there?" If I wasn't scared out of my wits, I was now. One candle blew out. On its own! "One, two, three." Then we all simultaneously said "Bloody Mary..." three times. After that Raven concluded saying, "Bloody Mary, come and play." Thunder shook the house as she finished, and all the candles blew out this time. I was so scared right now that if Andy wasn't holding me hand I would dart out the door and most likely cry.
