Secrets

Travis' POV~

I saw her. I saw her again. The wicked twisted woman who took everything from me that I had, but it was all a hallucination.

I was swimming in blood, but it's a river.

The shadow queen was looking down on me now it's this girl.

I don't even know her name and I trust her with my life.  All I know is that she was also attacked by the same horrendous woman. The rest, she shuts me out.

I want to know more about this woman. Anything.I'm craving for her weakness.

I sit onto the rock, she glares at me which pierced my soul.

"It was a nightmare." I slowly say, energy from me has been drained.

"Dreams are nothing but pictures formed from your knowledge." She lies down and rolls onto her other side facing away from me.

I look at her from behind, at her hawk wings which lay at rest, peacefully at rest behind her back.

If she has a nightmare too it will mean nothing but something bad.

I wonder if she remembers the day her life was ruined by the shadow queen.

"Do you remember the day, the day your village was attacked?"

"Sleep human."

"Why can't I ask?"

"Can you not sleep!"

"I can't sleep when I'm curious."

"Curious about what?"

"What happened to your village when the woman attacked it."

"Not as different to yours. Sleep!"

I do as she says. I lie down and I close my eyes, all I see is darkness, I can hear the swishing of the water and feel the air slowly moving over me. Cool fresh air moving over me. It's all darker now because of her.

Our rock hits the side of the river and a tree brushes over us as we continue our way with the river.

I can not sleep. I'm too wide awake. I open my eyes and stare out at the stars, they also got darker.

The moon is half dark,so is our world.

I look to my right at her. She's also awake. Her eyes look back at mine and it frightens me but this time in a different way, instead of her eyes making me feel threatened they only make me nervous. Her eyes show partial kindness just like they did when she accepted me on this adventure with her.

"You still a curious naive creature."

Is that a threat or a compliment?

"What's your name? You know mine."

"If I tell you shall you slept?"

"Yes."

"Well boy, my name is Aviana."

"Thank you."

I roll onto ,my left side and close my eyes.

Aviana?
