Hey guys this is just a quick story that I wrote to past time. Sorry it is really quick and barely a paragraph. I wanted to make it short to make you think curiously. Thanks guys constructive criticism greatly appreciated!!!!

My heartbeat quickens.

Beads of sweat fall down my sunburnt face. My legs give way and I plummet to the ground.

My will to get up is close to nothing. Using the small amount of energy I have left I haul my body off the ground.

I hold the passing rocks, trees and bushes passing by, to keep me on my feet.

Everything starts moving rapidly, making my head hurt. I fall backwards, the hard ground knocking the wind out of my exhausted body.

This is it. There is nothing more I can do. There is no point in using the last ounce of energy I have to get up, only to fall back down again.

As my breaths become shorter and my limbs become limp I swear I could hear the faint sound of helicopters descending from the sky.
