Plot:

A fresh, different plot.

 Of course, the trend has caught on and now there are plenty of blind boy / girl books. I’m disgusted by them.

This one though, blew me away. The story is intriguing and draws you in from the beginning. I think it has something to do with the adults and non-teen characters in the book. The characters are mature and well developed. And, this book falls in the rare third perspective (POV) category. This means you’re able to experience the happenings through others too. The description is exceptional and literally makes you yearn to read ahead.

Vocabulary and Grammar:

The writer is very good with the grammar and vocabulary. Few, if any, mistakes are spotted. And those have been missed by either the writer or the eagle-eyed editor (if there’s one). The generous use of decent grammar and vocab make for pleasant reading.

Verdict:

This is one of my favorite books on this site. And, the main reason for the same is that it has such a good plot for a non-teen fiction book. It makes you feel like a reader and not like a high school teen.

I strongly advise reading this book. Till date, it has not been removed from my library and I’ve read it several times.
