Do you remember those little stories you heard as a child?
How you were told that none of them were true?
Well, they are very true.
We've all been the Ugly Duckling or the Peter Rabbit.
We definitely didn't grow up to be the Princess or Prince that we all dreamed of.
Only the over-privileged and ungrateful received castles.
Those monsters under your bed are more than real.
The Big Bad Wolf will be there to blow your house down, and all the other little pigs won't be there to save you; they've already fled the town.
It's all one big hoax, everybody's a doll, plastic; their minds more than sick.
Will anybody open their mind instead of their eyes?
Disney told us love is unconditional, real life told us nobody will love us if we're unattractive.
Politicians are Cruella Deville, Earth itself is Maleficent.
Watch out, the Boogeyman is coming; he's all your insecurities in one.
Open up the attic, re-read those stories, you'll need it.
