Kyro shoved Grant who bumped into his brother. There was a splash as the fish retreated back into the pond, "Come on! I almost had it!" Grant growled. Kyro heard light giggling from the cherry blossom tree above. Grant's little sister followed them all over, yet she never played.
Lynx put his brother in a head lock and started rubbing his hair. Kyro and Grant were seventeen while Kyro's older brother was already twenty. Kyro's cheeks had a flush of red on them when Luna looked down at the wrestling brothers. "Great she's going to think I'm treated like a kid."
Kyro whipped around and bit his arm. His black tail lashed back and forth as he tried to pull back. "Hah you're too weak and puny, you'll never make it in the guard."
"Just wait I'll get stronger, and when I do you're going down." Kyro growled. Lynx jerked his brother's head back and forth with his elbow. He looked up to see her staring at him confused, he immediately looked down.
Lynx looked into his brothers eyes, his copper eyes glimmered. "I'll wrap a bow around your neck and attach a leash, the princess can have you as a present. I don't use you anymore, you could be her dog."
"Knock it off!" Kyro growled sinking his fangs into Lynx's arm. Lynx threw Kyro into the blossom tree, "Canis Kyro, no biting, dogs who bite are euthanized."
Kyro stood up and started walking away with an annoyed look on his face. Luna frowned and looked at them, "Maybe you were too rough."
"He's just being a baby." Lynx argued, "Come on, your parents wanted you two back by sun high."
Luna hoped down from the tree and looked at her brother. He was still complaining about the fish. She quietly followed them as they spoke about weapons. "My dad's letting me join the royal army on my birthday, I can't wait to take out some Tetsukians."
"It's fun, they're all worthless trash." Lynx sneered.
Luna frowned, "What are they like? I've never seen or met one."
"They're awful, all of their teeth are like our front fangs. They have red eyes and like to kill people who are all alone, especially little royal girls." Lynx barked.
"They also wear all black and have huge swords." Grant chuckled.
The young princess let out a whimper, "I want to go visit Turf, which way is the kingdom?"
Lynx pointed right of them, "Just keep going that way and you'll eventually run into it." She spun around and looked, "Huh? But don't we usually-"
A feather flew to the ground and there was a gust of wind. She turned around to find Lynx and Grant no where in sight, "Hello?" She called. She held her hands close to her chest, "Grant? Lynx? Anyone?"

"Kyro honey, how was fishing?" A light yellow and silver allakai asked polishing a blade. Kyro only grunted in response, "I'm going to my room."
"Can you run your fathers sword to him at the castle later? I'm just finishing it up." Willow barked.
"Yea sure whatever." Kyro muttered slamming his door. He looked on his bed and saw something, it was a huge black and red sword. On it there was a note neatly set on top. He picked up the note and peeled the seal off. "Dear Kyro, I have decided it's time for you to pick up a sword and follow in my and your brothers footsteps. You have shown great progress with your bow and I believe you are ready. You will be assigned to castle guard. I know you wanted to be on the front line but I think it suits you more. You are going to be a royal guard in training, you will be protecting the young princess from now on. Do well, the family name depends on it."
