Hiss Chapter 1

Chapter 1

~Midnight~

"Ahhhhhhh"I shot up from my deep slumber sweating all over wondering why I keep having the same dream over and over, my dream is about me getting chased through the woods until I come to a cliff the creature chasing me (some sort of wolf) grabs hold of my leg and tries to drag me off into the woods but then I grow really long nails and a really long snake tongue and my face goes all scaly like I'm some sort of snake woman anyway so I turn round and hiss at the creature who growls and then it goes to bite my face and then I wake up. Pretty scary huh, I get them every night and I can't tell anyone about it because people will just say it's not real and I'm just being a big baby about it but I am telling you now it is real I think I would know.

Oh by the way I'm called Tabitha I'm just a normal girl from Canada and I live in a little log cottage near the woods (the woods is the one in my dream) .

~The Next Morning~

"Good morning honey" mum said as I walked into the kitchen "meh" i replied as I slumped down into the chair next to my cat miffy who jumped off the chair while meowing quietly, "what do you want for breakfast hon" mum said gently "just some apple juice and some bacon please" "no you need more than that sweetie" she reasoned "urgh ok bye mum I'm going to meet James" I said nonchalantly "but but ....." she tried to finish her sentence but before she could say another word I quickly shouted "bye mum love you".

~That Afternoon~

"She's just looking after your health" James said in a gentle yet comforting tone "I know I know but I'm just not in a good mood today" I said a bit more angrily "I I" I stammered "I had the dream again" I said shyly then turned away subtly he grasped my shoulder and I turned round to face him quickly "thee dream" James said "yeh thee dream" I said very seriously.

~later that same night~

"Bed Time honey" mum called up to me "okay" I shouted back, I thought to myself I wonder if I will have the dream again.

~midnight~

"HEEEEEELLLLLPPPP" I screamed at the top of my voice. My heart racing I could feel it, it felt like it was gonna rip right through my chest,"urgh" my head is pounding it's over flowing with thoughts I had the dream again ,thee dream ,when am I ever gonna stop having it.
