Angelica and the Mystery Dairy

Years have passed since Mary Maloney had her first child, Angelica. It was summer. The sky was a bright cornflower blue, dotted with a few cotton clouds. The flowers were blooming. It was a joyous time. This particular day was a happy day for everyone because school ended a week ago, and there were only two days until Angelica turned sixteen. Everything was getting organized for her birthday party.

"Mom, I'm not going to wear heels," Angelica whined. "I'm going to use my converse with the dress." She never liked dresses nor heels, but she didn't have a choice if she wanted to wear a dress.

"But Angelica, you will look beautiful-like a princess," Mary said smiling while she made breakfast. After Mary and Angelica argued whether Angelica should wear heels or converse, Mary gave up and let her daughter wear her converse. There was no point in arguing; Angelica was as stubborn as they came.

While Angelica was getting her things ready for the big day, she noticed a picture of her father, Patrick. Tears welled in her eyes, breaking free in an instant. Angelica always cried when she saw a picture of him. All her life she'd dreamed having her father see her grow up and celebrate her sweet sixteen party with her. But that was just a pipe dream. Her father was dead. He would never celebrate anything with her.

Eyes bloodshot from all the crying, Angelica squeezed them shut to stop the last tear she had.

While she was trying to stop her tears from falling again, she couldn't help but wonder how her father died. Her mother claimed he'd fallen down a cliff, but Angelica didn't buy it. She didn't believe her father would be so stupid to randomly fall off a cliff. Who did that?

Angelica headed to the basement to get some supplies for the party.

"Eww, it looks like no one has been here in centuries," Angelica mused. While she walked down the stairs, Angelica noticed a book next to the party supplies.

Angelica went to grab the book and noticed it wasn't just a book; it was her mom's diary. Temptation danced before her. Should she read it? Should she invade her mother's privacy? In the end, temptation won out. Angelica opened the book and started to read. Her eyes widened when she found out how her dad really died.

"What!" she screamed from the top of her lungs. "Why did she lie to me?" she choked wobbily, trying to calm down."Why did she kill father?"

Her legs were shaking like an earthquake rocking the house. She was crying so hard she was dizzy, like she was going to faint, but luckily she didn't.

Rage sluiced through her veins. She hurled the dairy across the basement and started punching everything. Her pulse was beating like a drum then she spotted a huge hammer near the stairs. Angelica had gotten an idea for a punishment befitting her murderous mother. An evil laugh bubbled out of her as she took the hammer and walked up stairs. Angelica dragged the hammer on the floor and smile creepily.

"Mother needs a punishment," she started singing. Angelica walked forward where her mother was. Mary noticed her.

"Hi my little angel. Do you want some cookies that I made?" Mary said with a sweet smile across her face. Mary blinked. Angelica looked lifeless. Mary's eyes yell to her hard, sending a chill ripping through her. Angelica was dragging a hammer.

"Angelica, sweetheart. Why are you holding the hammer like that?" Mary's voice cracked.

Angelica didn't say anything. She just laugh creepily. "Mother needs a punishment" Angelica sang in a false to voice that incited year.

"What did you say?" Mary asked tightly.

Angelica raised the hammer above her head and swung it across her mother's skull. Mary spun once and tripped in the livingroom. After Angelica saw her mother in pod of blood, she started to laugh evilly.

"That was really fun mother," Angelica laughed. "This the best present you ever got me and it was a present for you too. Now you will in peace mother. Be happy."

Angelica grabbed her hammer and wiped the blood off. She put the hammer inside her backpack and went out the door. After wandering around the street, she ended up in the park.

"Who is going to be my new target?" Angelica said mentally and starts laughing creepily.
