Best friends Sara Catherine and Allie were just getting back home after the weekly double date that they went on with their boyfriends, Niall and Harry. For some reason, the men decided to splurge this week and took Allie and Sara Catherine to a nice restaurant with white table cloths and garlic bread. Niall and Harry waited in the den while their ladies went to change into something a little more comfortable. When they came back, Harry took Sara Catherine's hand and Niall took Allie's hand and led them to the couch and instructed them to sit down. Allie and Sara Catherine exchanged curious looks but then turned their attention to what the men were doing. Niall went to the entertainment center and grabbed two microphones and Harry pressed a button on the stereo remote that started to play You and Me by Lifehouse.

Niall handed Harry a mic and they began to sing to their ladies. Looking deep in their eyes and meaning every word. Occasionally taking their girls hand and kissing it. When the song was over the girls smiled romantically and applauded the men's beautiful performance. "What is the occasion for all of this? This night has been amazing!" Allie said, voicing what both she and Sara Catherine were thinking.
Niall and Harry looked at each other simultaneously and reached for something in their pockets. Niall kneeled down at Allie's feet and Harry at Sara Catherine's and the men both pulled out gorgeous diamond rings. The girls were so overwhelmed that they started softly crying because they were so happy. Niall began, "Allie, I knew I loved you the second I saw you at that meet and greet. I couldn't take my eyes off of you. Your smile lit up the whole room and your laugh was so contagious! My heart wanted to leap out of my chest every time I hugged you! I promise to love you and take care of you forever and ever. I love you. Allie Lanora Rush, will you marry me?"
Not skipping a beat, Harry began, "Sara Catherine. I don't even know where to begin. You are amazing. There were so many people in that room but the shimmer of your beautiful blue eyes caught my attention and I knew I had to have this girl. Every day I spend with you is the new best day of my life. On the days I don't see you, it's pure torture. You are the one and only person I want to spend the rest of my life with. I would be lost without you. I love you so much. Sara Catherine Ward, would you please do me the honor of marrying me?"
Allie and Sara Catherine both nodded yes trying to contain their tears and hugged their new fiancés.
After the initial excitement wore off, the men put in a movie and cuddled up with their fiancés. Only Harry and Niall were watching the movie, though because Allie and Sara Catherine were both whispering about their jewelry and adoring their best friends new engagement ring.
