"Jane?"
As her arms loosened around Annabelle all she could do was stare in shock at Jane, thoughts started to swirl in her mind creating clouds and inevitably a storm formed.
"It's hard back home, but they're getting through it."
What does she mean by hard?
Did something happen?
Should I go home?
"Anita?"
Annabelle snapped up hearing what Jane just said.
"What did you just say?"
Sebastian placed his hand against his head before surveying the area looking for something or someone, as if they would just pop up out of nowhere.
"Sorry, Ann." She cast her gaze downward before looking around with caution.
"...it's okay, I-I've got to go drive to school so guess I'll see you later. Oh and you need to tell me everything going on back home, okay?" She gave Jane a small smile one which Jane reciprocated.
"Ann, wait! I'll drive you."
She gave Sebastian a small smile before shaking her head "It's okay I can handle myself." Annabelle got into the car, restarted the engine and went on her way to the school.
Once she got there and parked her car she placed her head upon the steering wheel and let out a sigh.
All these stupid problems just had to arise now?!
Damn it!
She banged her head on the steering wheel causing the car to honk which surprised a bunch of students whom-of course- gave her disgusted and annoyed looks.
She didn't bother apologising or returning their annoyed looks she was too immersed in her thoughts as to why Jane came here.
As her thoughts took her deeper into the storm that is her mind she heard a knock on the window bringing her back to the present.
She turned her gaze to the window to find The Fallen Angels in all their glory, students walked past with shocked faces seeing how the hottest and among the richest guys in school were talking to some girl in a rusty old pick up truck.
She was quite shocked too, she had readied herself for the possible outcome that it was all some stupid dream or some prank that they pulled cause they were bored. But she wasn't prepared for this outcome.
All of them seemed to be smiling; even Daxton gave Annabelle a small smile and a wave, well all except Zac who had his signature scowl plastered on his face; but it seemed to be more aimed at the students who walked by giving weird looks before noticing Zac's menacing aura and quickly scurrying away.
She opened the door and quickly got out, grabbing her things and locking the car before asking them why they were here.
"Oh, hey guys...so uh why are you all here?"
The four of them exchanged a few looks before Mikeal spoke up with a slight French accent, one she didn't notice until now.
"Well why wouldn't we? We saw our friend over here and wanted to say hi." He gave her a bright smile one she returned with ease, there was just something about these boys smiles that were just so contagious.
"Also you created a lot of noise so it was easy to find you." Ryder shrugged his shoulders like he was simply stating a fact.
"Wow Ryder, what about those screams you were making the other day?" Annabelle raised her brow while the boys exchanged knowing looks before bursting with laughter.
