Collared

XI Chapter 4 IX

Kanes Point of View:

I woke up to the sounds of Dixy whimpering in her bed on the floor looking up at me probably trying to gain my attention. Her big almond shaped eyes peered up at me and instantly made me coo at her getting out of bed and walking over to her and scooping her up into my arms and then walking back over to my bed. 

She remained motionless in my arms, actually scooting towards me and slightly snuggling into my chest seeking warmth and comfort. I scooched her over to me and held her tight in my arms throwing the comforter back over us. I fell asleep to the nice feeling of being wanted for the first time in my life that wasn't sexual.

I woke up for the second time to notice that Dixy wasn't in my arms any more. Freaking out I looked under the bed trying to see if she was just being curious. She wasn't there and I started getting more worried. I quickly went down to the right of the hallway to see if Dominic and Zane could help me look for Dixy. I knocked on there door and when I didn't hear any response I flung open the door only to see that they were gone along with Toby. I rushed downstairs to see if they were down there along with possibly Dixy and I was surprised by what I was seeing. There sitting on the floor was Dixy, her strange hair everywhere as she was laughing at something that Toby was saying. 

Dominic and Zane were perched upon the kitchen stools talking to each other and occasionally glancing over at the two pets. "Dixy." I growled lowly and she quickly yanked her head up her eyes filled with curiosity but also some fear. "Come." Dixy quickly scampered over to me her head down as she stood in front of me fear radiating off of her body.

Dominic and Zane had finally realized that I was here and they looked at each other worryingly and Dominic decided to speak up. "Kane, dude are you okay? What's wrong?" he questioned. "Why is Dixy down here without me? I need to know where she is at all times." I looked pointedly at him and Zane scowling slightly intimidating them slightly as you could hear Zane gulp. 

"Well I came into your room to see if you wanted to go out for breakfast but you were asleep and Dixy was awake. You were practically holding her in a choke hold! I felt a little bad for her and I knew that she probably wanted to see Toby so I got her outta your death grip and we went down to the kitchen. And here we are now thirteen and twenty five seconds later, me talking while you look like you're gonna go all Alpha on me." Dominic explained happily. I swear if he wasn't my friend he would have already been punished by now. 

"Well don't do that ever again, got it." I snapped at him pulling Dixy towards me and nuzzling my nose into her neck. "I understand Alpha." Dominic said and bowed his head along with Zane. I sighed feeling a little bad for going all dominant on them but it is in my genes. "Dominic?" questioned Dixy slightly turning her head to the side. She moved her eyes over to Toby and smiled at me with hopeful eyes wanting me to find some sort of message. I finally understood and let her go, and she skipped over to Toby who snapped over his submissive trance and snatched Dixy and put her into his lap playing with her weird twists. 

Dixy smiled softly and leaned back into his chest slightly purring which made all of us dominants surprised. "So it seems as if she's more in contact with her feline side. That's ironic because Toby's more in contact with his beastly side." Zane muttered his eyes glued on the submissive's every move. 

Dominic looked down at his submissive, Zane, with a soft expression and kissed behind his ear which made him shiver slightly and also causing him to blush. I broke up there weird love fest with a suggestion about going to the park. "That sounds great!" Dominic said and he got up from the stool Zane in tow along with Toby who had set Dixy on the ground I noticed and walked up the long spiraling stair cases. I looked back to see Dixy gnawing on her strange hair looking like she was in a trance. "Dixy, no." I reprimanded her gently taking the twisted piece of hair from her mouth. She pouted unsurprisingly but then said something that took me off guard. 

"Kane, no!" She chirped back looking pleased with herself as she put the strand of hair back in her mouth chewing on it happily. "Dixy." I said warningly. "Kane." She mocked back at me but let the strand fall from her mouth. I sighed smiling slightly and scooped her up on my hip making her squeak slightly. I brought her to my room and sat her down on the floor telling her to stay and then going in to take a shower. 

After my shower, brushing my teeth and getting dressed I exited my bathroom silently so I could see if Dixy was doing something wrong since I wasn't there and I was pleased to see that Dixy was still sitting in the exact spot I left her, playing with her feet but I saw one hand reaching for one of her strands of hair but she stopped herself scowling slightly probably remembering what I said which surprised me since I didn't think humans couldn't remember anything as long as we did but I was still pleased. 

I strolled into the room and walked over to her towering over her. I went over to the dresser and got the collar and leash. I walked back over to her and bend down on one knee to attach the collar and leash. I stood back up and yanked lightly on the leash walking towards the door. We exited the room and walked down the large stairway waiting by the front door. Zane came out first from the direction of the kitchen and carrying a large picnic basket.

Dominic entered from the stairway holding a leash that was attached to Toby's collar. They walked down the stairs and walked towards us Dominic smiling widely while Toby's gaze was fixed on Dixy.

"Ready for the picnic boys and girl?" Dominic asked grinning from ear to ear.
