Treasure Trove Of Poems

Rain

Pitter- pattering rain
Everywhere all over
Putting a glow
Smile and shine
On every face.

Birds are sleep
Animals in shade
Watching the rain
Insects having feast
Buzzing and chirruping

Gurgling, dancing
Happy brook
Waiting to be strengthened,
Join the river
To end in the sea

Fields and farms
Mallows and fallows
Waiting for rain
Dancing trees
And sweet buds peeping.

Puddle for trouble
For children enjoyment
Jumping up and down
Parents are in angry tight spot
As dirty children they find.

Black clouds hovering
Thunder in our ears
As lightning white and bright
With its mega volts of electricity
Flashes through the dark sky.

Stars and the moon hide
The mighty sun is behind clouds
Leaving the earth in darkness
But rain is loved
By everyone.

The frog loves rain,
Hopping around on the ground,
Catching its prey that's insects
With its long sticky tongue
Jumping in the cool water pool.

Proud peacock when dancing
Delighted with rain which is coming
Feathers green and blue opening
Hopeful farmers waiting
And for good crops they are praying.

See the rainbow light
The seven colours bright
The small cloud's fright
And the sun shining bright
After the big rainy sight.

Guess this may be a little old as it is writen when I was little and didn't know anything about rhyme metre and figures of speech but here it is as it was unedited same with all other poems
