I heard the sounds of loud an beeping alarm clocks sound of alarms, signalling that the lift was coming up. It must be a new person, to replace her. Wow had it been a month already! I started to think about her and how much I miss her. I felt something wet slide down my face. Crap, now i'm crying. If the boys see me that would ruin my credibility except maybe Thomas because he knows what i'm going through.

I look down at my legs and grab my knife. I heard her voice in my head stopping me what I was about to do. But she isn't here to tell me what to do. I pull up my jeans and start to cut. I am still crying so the tears mix with blood. I hear all the boys making weird sounds until I hear Dylan say its a girl in the lift. No I cant deal with another girl. Why did them stupid people who put us in this game make me suffer even more. I stay in the meadow so that nobody sees my puffy eyes. I could hear Dylan shout stop. I hide in the tree and see the new girl throwing packages at him. I let a laugh escape but quickly put my hand over my mouth.

I jump down from the tree and run. I hear Some say we have a runner. At first I thought they were talking about me. But how? They couldn't see me. I quickly jump into one of the tents. It the medic tent. Damn that means Kaya will be in here. I see a blur of movement as the new girl. Then She fell. Oh should I go out there. No I decided to stay and take my chance with Kaya. the first thing kaya did was ask why i was in here. then she looked at my leg. i forgot to put it pull it back up. she surprises me by pulling me into a tight hug. i start to cry again. i remember about the new girl and start to tell her when i hear a shout GET OFF ME. i peek out the window and see the new girl on the ground and Dylan on top of her. then he laughs. i see them walk away so i take that chance to run but i bump into Thomas. he looked like he was in pain. "Amber have you been crying." he look down and grabs me. "you should really stop doing that you know." he says. i look down and see my bloody knife sticking out. " i know but i cant OK i just cant. i miss her." he hugs me. my shoulder starts to feel wet. he had started crying on my shoulder. "Are you ok tommy". I ask with emotion. "Yea my balls just hurt that's all." He replies as I start to laugh. "How did you hurt your balls" "the new girl kicked me in the balls. I better go to Kaya"  WTF. He says " I'm not gonna show her anything just tell her" he walks off limping.

I decide to go to sleep in the meadow hoping the new girl won't come and see me here.

I started to dream about Her.

She comes back to The Games. I started to run to her but as I got closer she was ripped up and bloody.

The dream escalated and I started to wake but got pulled back into a unconsciousness.

I see Thomas run up to her and start to kiss her. I continue to walk. I start to run. I see a shadow of a boy. He had a bow and arrow and I go up to him. He says "hi Amber how are you?" I feel confused.

I wake up in a cold sweat. They are getting vivid like a distant memory. I see that I am still in the Meadow. I run quickly to my room where Dylan is waiting. "What the hell are you doing I my room. Did you forget I am a weapons girl? If I didn't know you so well I would seriously no joke kill you." I say peeved off. He just laughed his sweet little laugh. It was refreshing after everything that has happened with HER. "you didn't come and see the new girl. is it becasue of Em...""No just shut up" he drops it but just as he was leaving he came back and gave me a hug. i was surprised. "I miss you because you have been so distant lately."
