It was a hot summer day. We were out side as usual and we were talking about our childhood.I told her I was shocked that after these past 2 years we haven't talked about our childhood once. We have always talked about after high school or high school, nothing below that. The ring was in my pocket. still wondering if it was the right time to give it to her. My thinking got popped after she started talking again. She said she had an idea. Great. I wonder where this is going. She ran inside and came out with a big bucket of different colored chalk that hasn't been used yet.

"This was my most favorite thing to do as a child." She said in a serious voice.

She started to draw and that's when she drew an ice cream truck and then again she said " I would draw what ever I wanted and every time I usually got lucky and what I drew would come or come true, at least that's how I remember it. Ha Ha!" We both started to laugh and draw things we wanted. she kept drawing the ice cream truck and I started drawing a hand. she asked me why I was drawing a hand. but, Before I could answer an ice cream truck came.

"I guess the chalk still works!" and started laughing and went to go get some ice cream. while she was getting ice cream my plan was going all into place. I had a brilliant idea. I finished my drawing and added a ring on the 4th finger. I wrote in her favorite color pink " Will you marry me?" and put blue scribbly lines around the writing and got down on one knee. I felt like I was forgetting something but it couldn't cross my mind now because she was just walking back. I had one hand in my pocket and I could feel an elegant diamond round object in a almost closed box. Now I know what I was forgetting, The ring! it was too late now because she's already over here asking me what this is about.

" I love you very much, so much to ware I can't handle it anymore. I could show you a bunch of ways to prove my love for you but this is the one I want to do. So Brooke Penelope Davis, Will you marry me?"

"Yes! yes! yes! yes!!! Should I draw myself a ring with chalk?"

"If you want to but I was picturing you wearing this one."

My plan was so incredible to ware I didn't even plan this part. I pulled the box out vey carefully with the fabric so it won't break and opened it to show her the beautiful diamonds on it with one big diamond.

"Oh Julian it's so beautiful!"

"Not as beautiful as you!"

I put the ring on her finger that fit so perfectly and we kissed and ran inside.

Nothing was ever this perfect in my life.
