She's gone.

She's actually gone. I'm left with daddy

The long car picked Daddy and I up and along with my Aunt Marcy and her daughter Cindy

Aunt Marcy gives my daddy a look and calls him a low down bastard

agreed

Cindy is complaining that the seats being to hard

I cover my ears. she complains too much.

Daddy looks sober but you can tell he's scratching for a drink

as always

My grandma looks up straight and has her face twisted into anger

"How do you let your own wife die you sick son of a bitch!"she yelled once she found out more words too but I don't know how to spell them or don't wanna

Cindy is trying to make me laugh as she bite her hand

I laugh

But grandma slaps my face and pull me by the arm

I don't make another noise

I berly breathe.

People are crying some fell as they viewed inside my mommy's box they put her in

I don't look.

I don't wanna look.

Daddy slumps lower in his seat and closes his eyes

not to grieve. he just don't wanna be here

he hates mommy.

why?

My grandma passes me and scowl.

I just look.

"Your next"she mouth at my daddy who has got up and headed out

I force myself to stare at mommy's box

I couldn't cry. only burn inside.

I'll always love you mommy

always.

The undertaker took mommy and left

I didn't go to the barrel

she was already underground and was treated like dirt

why go further.

Aunt Lulu took me to her house and told me

"Your welcomed to come over any time you want, your father just have to pick you up"

why even be in a vehicle with him so I say

"No thank you"and run upstairs and fall asleep.

Its Monday and daddy isn't home

I'm alone.

I fix me something to eat and sit outside and look at the pretty butterflies

why can't I fly. then I could fly away.

Daddy truck pull up

I picked up my plate and ran inside and hid in my closet

it's the safest place I got

I hear more then my father voice and listened

"Elliot now I tell ya you need to go get that money and buy you some nice things"

what money?

"Ah, Cathy didn't have welfare or life insurance ain't nothing for me and if it was I would buy all the beer I could!"daddy laughs

bastard bastard bastard bastard die already!

"Whoo wee then you could just do something with that little girls of yours- how old is she?"another voice asked

"Seven or nine something around there"

eight you no good ass

"Well listen here when she hit those double digits she's mine hehe"they all busy in hearty laughs but I don't hear daddy laugh

"Like ten?"daddy ask the same guy laugh

"That'll be perfectly fine with me"

I let a river roll down my clothes and out the closet crack.
