Jesse woke Tasha. And, together they went downstairs to see what's going on.
"Oh, hi, kids! Want a bowl of porridge?," Marchell greeted them with a smile.
Tasha and Jesse ran to the table and sat beside Erl. "So, what's next?," Jesse asked.
"We wander," Tasha answered.
Marchell turned to us,"First, we can go to my sister's house to get aprons, you know so we won't get any stains on our shirts. Next we'll travel to the top of that mountain and we'll set up a picnic. It'll be so much fun! Then, we'll go to thi-"
"Marchell, just leave this one to us," Erl insisted.
They went on with their plan and agreed.
They rode the jeepney and traveled.
"So, this Lhansy, you say, is really good?," Jesse asked.
"Yes. And she has this cool brother. You know what, Tasha, I think you'll like him," Erl laughed.
"Yeah, right. Like, I came here to find a boyfriend?,"
They finally arrived at the so-called "Ancient Legend Books". They all went down the jeepney, bags in hands.
"Is this it?," Tasha asked. "Yes, darling," Marchell said.
They all entered the small and old building as they heard a small voice. "Marcheelllllll! Eeeeerll!!! You guys are here! Gian! They're here!," she yelled.
"Lhaaaaaansssssyyyy!!!!! Marchell missed you so much! I came here with pies. Want some?," Marchell yelled back hugging the girl. She was a small girl, with short and red-highlighted hair, pale skin, big eyes, black outfit.
"Hi Mr. Hudson! So, what made you come here?," a man from the shadows came in. "Gian! Meet my new friends, Tasha and Jesse," Erl growled back.
"So, umm, nice to meet yah, Tasha. And Jesse," Lhansy smiled.
"Tasha... that's a nice name," Gian said, as they started to walk to the main hall.
"Umm... thanks. My mother gave it to me," Tasha smiled.
"Well... we're looking for a book about Mades War, the Wanderers, anything?," Erl turned to Lhansy.
"Uh.. for what?," she asked.
"We need it... badly. For Tasha," Jesse said.
"Well, I think I can give you something," she escorted everyone to a narrow hall filled with old and spine-tore books.
"Tasha, huh? Umm... can I show you some of my stuff?," Gian whispered.
"Well, I guess I shouldn't go away too far from the group. Is it necessary?," Tasha asked.
Jesse noticed the two. He walked to the two of them and said,"Hey guys, I think Erl found something."
Both of Tasha and Gian turned to Erl, as Erl did find something, but it wasn't the book. As they continued to walk, Jesse grabbed Tasha's arm,"What is he telling you?."
"Why?,"
"Well, first, it's not common for a guy to ask a girl to see 'some of his stuff'. Second, he doesn't know you, and you don't know him. Third, I don't feel good about him. Fourth, I think it's best if we ju-,"
"You know what, be cool. Nothing's gonna happen here. We came for the book, right?," Tasha smiled.
"Yeah, yeah, right," Jesse nodded.
Suddenly, Lhansy leaned closer to a dusted book. "I think this is it," she said.
They all huddled together in a circle. Erl was holding the book. As he turned the pages, golden snowflakes flew out of it. They all wowed and wooed to amusement.
"Well, what does it say, Erl?," Marchell asked.
"It's just.................. a picture. Like a broken map," Erl grumbled.
"Umm... I have something," Tasha pulled an old piece of paper from her back pocket. "Will this help?"
Erl put together the two pieces and indeed they fit. "It's a basic map. It could actually lead us to Vi-"
"Vinstropolis!," they all shouted in joy.
They walked out of the library and into the jeepney.
"So, you guys sure you don't wanna come?," Marchell frowned.
"Aww, sorry, Marchell. I can't leave the library. Gian does his own stuff," Lhansy turned to Tasha,"I got your back, girl. Go find that Vinstropolis!."
Tasha smiled and hugged her. And, the group finally went on with their journey.
