Chapter 1- I'm a what?

"Kim's POV

I was upstairs in my room scrolling through social media and listening to music when all of a sudden I heard my name being called

"Kim come down here please!" My mom called crap I hope I wasn't in trouble, and why did she have to call me right now? I was listening to Blown Away by Carrie Underwood, that was my jam.

"Coming mom!" I closed my laptop and headed downstairs, everybody was either sitting or standing what was going on?

"Kimberly please take a seat" My father said, he never said my real name unless something was wrong,  I hope I don't get grounded. As far as I know I didn't do anything wrong.

I sat down in the only chair that was left, my whole family was here that never happens something must be seriously wrong.

"Dad is something wrong?" I ask him, my family looks at him he nods, what the heck?

"No nothing is wrong, but we have to tell you something and you may not take it well but it must be done" My father said then paused and looked at my grandpa.

"What do you mean I may not take it well? Is somebody sick? Are we moving?" I asked.

"No it's not that it's-" My father began, but got interuppted by my grandpa

"What your father is trying to say is that you're a werewolf and you will transform into one very soon either by yourself or by the help of one of the elder's" my grandpa said

Wait what? So I'm a werewolf?  Like the ones in the Twilight series? Those existed in my life? They weren't just some fictional thing? I'm actually a werewolf.. what the hell?!

"What do you mean by myself or with help from the elders? And a werewolf? That's awesome but sort of freaky..."

"Well you will either transform by yourself meaning a couple hours after you hit puberty or one of the elder's will bite you, and yes it may sound painful but afterwords its not" My grandpa said

"Woah slow down, this is just really weird. I don't understand.." I said while stammering

"Your back will hurt, you will get a head ace, you might pass out,, and when you are in the transformation you will have a dream, in your dream will be your mate it will be showed as a human then they will turn into a werewolf and then it will end, but that may not happen everybody's transformation is different and that's pretty much it but if it happens at school or any place else you have to call your parents or me" My grandpa said

"Okay and after I'm a werewolf how often do I transform? Can I read minds?"

"I will answer those questions after you have transformed, now its very important that you eat healthy so your human and wolf form are in good shape."

"Um okay."

"Sorry it's vague, but your parents can explain more. We all must go, I've just been informed of some business we must take care of. I'll see you later Kim." My grandfather said and the rest of the family headed out.

it was just me my mom, dad and my brother I can't believe I was going to be a werewolf.

"Well it's close to your bed time" My dad said

"Dad! It's only 8:30! I'm in 10th grade!" I exclaimed, there was no way I'm going to bed at 8:30 on a Monday night...

"You have to get your sleep, if you turn into a werewolf tonight it's going to be really tiring" My mom said

"Fine" I said and go upstairs to my room, once I'm there I get changed into my pj's then I open my laptop back up. I see that my friend Julian is on MSN so I go start a chat with her.
