Forbidden Love

Prologue

Hurt, pain, confusion, anxiety.... these are just a few of the feelings I have had over the course of my naive teenage years.

My name is Alyss and I am eighteen years old sky rocketing into the pros and cons of today's social standards. 

Everybody goes through a spout of bad luck at some point in their life. Mine just happens to have been my entire life up until this point. To be a little more specific... If you had known me about a year ago I would have told you I didn't think I would ever be able to live a normal life and most importantly I didn't think I would ever be able to find a man to love me like a man should. 

When it came to love, I would have said I was little more than ignorant to the term. Don't get me wrong, I knew what love was and I knew what love meant. Had I ever experienced love though?
