After leaving Granny's in a very agitated state, King Leopold went back to his old ways. He wasn't going to take out his anger on his people, nor his family, but his wife. How dare she kill him. How dare she banish Snow, how dare she curse his land. How dare she take his great grandson. How dare she. She had to pay. There wasn't an if and or but about it. She was going to pay and he was going to show her no mercy.

Back at his hideout King Leopold locked the cellar door behind him. He crossed the threshold of the musty basement and found his queen. Regina lay on her back, handcuffed to a water pipe. She hadn't woken up from her faint yet, but when she did she would be in for a surprise. Leopold set about setting up his tools. He hasn't done this in a while, so he knows he'll be a bit rusty, but it wouldn't matter.

Regina's POV

Slowly she opened her eyes to face the horror of her life. Her head ached, her back ached and she could feel sticky blood on her temple sticking her hair to her face, but in that moment she didn't care. She couldn't care. Her nightmares were coming true. Her husband had came back to the world of the living just to torment her. She couldn't believe it. She had to find a way out of there. That's when she realized, she had magic. This idiot hadn't taken her magic away. Slowly she thought of a spell that would undo the handcuffs.

He turned to her. "Ah I'm so glad you're awake." He advanced towards her in record speed. He caressed her face, to anyone watching it would seem as if it was a loving gesture, and it would have been, if only he didn't have the cold look in his eye and the sadistic smile on his face. Regina realized soon, that she couldn't use her magic. The stress that she was in right now was affecting it. She was too weak to try something. If she did it could be fatal to herself.

Leopold sensing an opportunity, kissed her. She tried to get out of his grasp, but he grabbed a fist full of her hair and yanked it into his palm with enough force to make her gasp. Sensing another opportunity he added his tongue to the mix. Rage consumed Regina, how dare he! She bit him. He pulled away quickly and she spit some of his blood at him. She was proud of herself. It pissed him off. "YOU WENCH, I'LL KILL YOU!" He started punching her, in her face in her chest in her stomach, she curled herself into a ball so he couldn't do anymore damage to her torso. He kicked her and screamed hateful words and finally he was done.

Leopold left the cellar in a better mood after he beat Regina. He would find Snow and lie about his feelings. He would get on her good side again. Regina on the other hand, she slowly unraveled herself. She had to calm down. She couldn't keep this stress up. She had to relax and rest so she could use her magic. She checked herself out. Her head was bleeding pretty badly, but nothing stitches couldn't fix, her ribs were turning a dark blue, perhaps they were broken, she wouldn't know. Her wrists were cut from struggling against them for so long, and her stomach had purple and black hues from where he kicked her. This was going to be a long day.

Snow was carrying Neal into the house when she stopped to think about all the events that had passed in the past 24 hours. Maid Marian came back, Regina went missing, and her father showed up, her dead father. Her father threatened to kill Regina. What if he did? She couldn't think about it. She had to think about her family, they were reunited finally! But wasn't Regina a part of her family too? She had always held love for Regina. It didn't matter what Regina did, because Snow knew, in the end, all of Regina's problems, stemmed from her. She is the one who got Daniel killed, she's the reason Regina had to marry her father, she is the reason that Regina was so mean. Granted she was just a child when this whole thing started, but it was still her fault.

She heard footsteps coming from behind her, and was shocked by the sight of her father yet again. "Daddy?" "Can I come in?" She had let him inside and put Neal in his playpen. Leopold sat at the bar and waited for his daughter to finish what she was doing. She set down a cup of tea in front of him and sat across from him. "I'm sorry." he started. "I shouldn't have reacted the way I did. Your step-mother and I never got along much. We had our ups and downs, but when imprisoned me I was betrayed. And then I was visited by my ghost and he helped me escape execution. When I came here, I was so angry at Regina, for what she had done. Then I learned that after I had died she banished you, my darling daughter, from the kingdom, and cursed my precious land.

I love my kingdom and all of the people in it, and to learn that she treated you that way, and cursed these people, it angered me to the core. I'm sorry for yelling, and probably scaring your husband and kids, but I couldn't stop it." Snow listened to his words. Digested them in her mind. She accepted his apology. They hugged it out and Leopold held Neal for the very first time. "I would like you to come over for dinner Sunday night. Just us family members. You, Me, Emma, David, Neal, and Henry." "I wouldn't miss it for the world." he had replied on his way out.

Hours faded into days and Regina had become nothing but a desperate soul. She was in the worst pain of her life. She couldn't stop it. Everything hurt. Leopold had been torturing her for the better part of a week. She had no time to rest and nothing to eat or drink. She was exhausted. Every beating she took had her breathless and she received no care for her wounds. All she wanted to do was sleep, but every time she drifted off, she received a bath of vodka. Leopold had told her that he would be gone for a while and to hold tight, because he would be back for her. Fuck that, she thought to herself. She was getting out of this hell hole.
