chapter 1

*august's pov*

"auggy!"my little sister molly yelled as she ran into my room and jumping onto my bed and jumping up and down.

"whoa i'm up!" i shot up awake. once i sat up i rubbed my eyes and yawned i picked up molly then set her on the ground standing i got up and walked over to my closet and got dressed in my normal everyday clothes. Blue skinny jeans and a navy blue tank top i walked down the hall to the bathroom and brushed my hair and brushed my teeth and did the usual things.

right after i was done in the bathroom i walked downstairs into the kitchen and see my mom cooking pancakes and oatmeal i took a pancake off of the big stack she already cooked "hey thief"she wacked my hand with her hand i laughed and walked over to my little girls seagrass bassinet "hey baby girl daddy missed you yesterday" i picked her up and held her close rocking back and forth while she was making baby noises.

"Hey mom can you watch McKenna"I turned over to my mom and looked at her.

"Sorry August I can't I have to take your father to surgery in an hour then go to work"she looked at me with an apologetic face. "It's okay mom I'll just stay in and spend time with my little panda"I kissed the side of McKenna's head.

I walked out to the living room and sat on the couch and laid McKenna on my legs I turned on the tv and put on some cartoons for Molly and McKenna then I pulled the bassinet in front of me the set McKenna in it gently.

* 2 hours later *
I walked up stairs to my room to get McKenna since I heard her cry over the baby monitor I was in the basement playing the PlayStation 4 when I got up to my room I got McKenna and brought her to the basement with me I laid on the long part of the couch and laid McKenna in between my legs I continued playing my game until McKenna let out a little cry.

"Hey baby girl what's wrong" I put down the controller and picked her up and laid her on my chest then she stopped whining "you just wanted cuddles from Daddy didn't you panda" I kissed the top of her head and rubbed her back gently.

There was a knock on the door I held McKenna closely and got up and got the door I looked to who it was and I looked at the person pissed "what are you doing here Macy" I gritted thought my teeth.

"I just came to see my boyfriend and my baby" she said in her annoying high pitched voice "Macy we're not together anymore and your not allowed to touch my baby girl"

"Why? August?!"

"You left McKenna at the hospital when she was born!! And you never came back" I shouted then McKenna start crying.

"August that was 1 month ago I've changed I wanna take care of my baby"

"No now leave before I call the cops" I said while calming down McKenna.

"Give me my baby August!" She yelled and grabbed mckenna's arm.

"Go Macy!!" I pushed her off and held McKenna close while she was crying.

She looked at me then at McKenna then turned around and left I looked down at McKenna she had a bruise where Macy grabbed her I cradled her closely "shh it's okay McKenna daddy's got you I'm always gonna protect you"

I closed the door and walked back over to the couch and laid down and laid McKenna on my chest I rubbed her back while she was crying.

*few hours later*

McKenna fell asleep on my chest so I went up stairs and laid her down on my bed then I laid down next to her I rubbed her back softly.

"I'm sorry baby girl for being a bad father I'm not here to take care of you I'm sorry I'm always out partying" I kisses her head softly I started drifting off to sleep I pulled McKenna's baby blanket over her and pulled my blanket over me then fell asleep.

*1 hour later*

I woke up from my nap and I look over at McKenna she was wide awake she was looking at up at me with her beautiful brown eyes I rubbed her cheek gently "hey pretty girl are you hungry?" She smiled at me "I'll take that as a yes then" I got off the bed then gently picked up McKenna and walked down stairs to the kitchen.

I grabbed her bottle out of the fridge and shook it then I put it down on the counter and made me a grilled cheese sandwich after I was done making that I started feeding McKenna she drank more than half of the bottle then I set her down in her bassinet and started eating.

After I was done eating I put my plate in the sink and washed it along with mckenna's bottle after I was done with that I picked up McKenna and brought her up stairs to the bedroom and changed her diaper and changed her into a light grey onesie and light pink shorts then white socks.

I picked up McKenna and set her in her crib I put on some songs that she loves and walked out of the room.

I walked back down stairs to watch some tv I got to the living to and turned on the tv and the baby monitor I watched baseball for like 20 minutes then I got bored of it I picked up my phone and pulled up Kenna's room camera to check on her making sure she is safe.

I got up and checked the time it was 3:30 pm well I could go over to Jay's house and hangout with the guys yeah I'll do that I'll just pack Kenna's diaper bag and get her ready.

I went up stairs to pack her bag I walked in the room and grabbed the things that she needed I got that ready then I walked over to Kenna's crib she was sleeping soundly she looked so cute I picked her up gently then she woke up at started being fussy "it's okay baby you wanna see your uncles" I put her in her car seat and put her stuffed animal next to her then she fell back to sleep I put her blacker over the thing and picked her up and the bag and walked out the door I walked over to the car and put McKenna in and set the bag in the passenger seat I got in and started up the car and put on some of Kenna's favorite songs then backed out and drove over to Jay's house.

Once we got there I got McKenna out of the car and grabbed the bag I walked up to the door and opened it I walked in the living room and see the all the guys playing the Xbox they all looked up at me "hey August hey McKenna" jay said as he walked over to McKenna and taking her out of her seat.

all the guys were surrounding mckenna until something smelled "uumm august mckenna needs a diaper change" chase said while handing me kenna "okay i'll be back"i took kenna up stairs to the bathroom and changed her diaper and changed her outfit too.

i walked back down stairs then handed kenna to chase  "hey Kenna you wanna see lightning" Kenna started giggling then chase called lighting then a few seconds later the husky puppy ran in the room and started licking Kenna's feet then she got scared and started crying.

"It's okay Kenna shh you want daddy?" Chase handed her to me "hey baby it's okay he's not gonna hurt you" I calmed her down then started to feed her.

Once I was done feeding her I packed up her things and got her ready to go home I said goodbye to the guys and walked out to the car and got Kenna in and drove home.

Once I got home I put Kenna down for the night "goodnight baby girl I'll see you tomorrow" I kissed her forehead and walked over to my bed and laid down I pulled up my MacBook Pro and put on Netflix after watching a few episodes of bobs burgers I fell asleep.
