Chapter Eight

Chapter Eight <3







(JC's POV)





My eyes started to open slowly. There was a brightness blinding my eyes. I looked around but I ownly saw bright white. My eyes quickly adjusted to the glaring light. My eyes tried to focuses on what I was looking at. Soon I figured I was staring at the ceiling. I turned on to my side. My face met Kat's hushed face. Her head laid on my shoulder and I had my arms wrapped around her waist. Are body's were facing each others and were pressed tightly together. I slowly moved my arm from around Kat. I pulled the covers off of me and used my hands to prop myself up. I squinted my eyes to look at the clock. It was nine o'clock. I dragged myself out of my bed and stumbled into the bathroom. When I exited the bathroom my focuses went to Kat who siting up still wrapped in covers.







Kat: "Good morning!"







JC: "Good Morning Kat!"







I walked over and sat at the edge of my bed. I let my back fall onto the bed. Kat moved herself behind me. She lend her head over my face.







Kat: "Do you want to go out for breakfast?"







JC: "Sure. Can we spend the day together, just us?"







Kat: "Okay. I will go and get ready!"







JC: "Alright. See you in a bit."







Kat: "Bye!!"







I slowy sat myself up right. Kat jumped off the bed quickly and pushed my uppper body back down to the bed. She ran out of my room laughing, I will get her back.









(Kat's POV)









I ran out of JC's room laughing hysterically. I couldn't help it, I was in a good mood. I ran down the hallway looking back at JC's room. Soon as look in front of me I find myself running into Conner. We quickly caught our feet before falling back. Connor grabbed my arm. I fixed my balance then looked at Connor. He was steady and still holding my arm. We just stood there oblivious to everything around us. He let go of my arm then scratched the back of his neck. I put my arms behind my back.







Kat: "Sorry."







Connor: "It's fine. So where did you go last night?"







Kat: "Oh. I left early with JC."







Connor: "Oh. I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere today?"







Kat: "Sorry i told JC i was going to hang out with him today. How about tomorrow?"







Connor: "Sure. That's fine. Have fun."







Kat: "Thanks. Bye Connor!"







Connor: "Bye Kat."







I turned around and started to head to the bathroom. I feel someone grab me by the arm and I turned around to face the other way. I looked at Connor's sad and depressed face. He moved his hand from my arm to my hand.







Connor: "Are we going to pretend that kiss never happened?"







Kat: "No. What's wrong?"







Connor: "Is there something happening between you and JC?"







Kat: "No! Why would you say that?!"







Connor: "You went home with him last night."







Kat: "I just walked him home!"





At this point i was getting defensive and angry. I let go of Connor's hand harshly and pushed it out of my way. Where is all this coming from? Last night Connor seened fine but now he is sleepless just because we kissed.







Connor: "Nothing else?"







Kat: "Connor! There is nothing going on with me and JC! I don't like him!"









I lied to him.
