Percy

I looked up just in time to see a huge tree. I steered the car so that my side would get the bigger impact.

As we were about to hit the tree I yelled "I love you Wise Girl!" Then everything was dark.

The last thing I heard was Annabeth screaming.

I woke up in a hospital bed. A nurse was changing some bandages on my leg. I hurt all over.

"W-what h-happened?" I stuttered.

The nurse looked up at me sweetly and said, "You were in a car accident, but you are not hurt badly. You will be okay in a day or two." I nodded then I remembered Annabeth and our baby.

"Oh gods! Where is the girl who was with me? Where is Annabeth? Is she okay? Is the baby okay?"

The nurse stopped me and answered, "She is hurt more severely, but she will be okay."

"What about my baby?"

"It's still alive. The doctors are working on keeping it alive at the moment."

I leaned back against the pillows. A few tears rolled down my cheeks. "Can I see her? Please?" The nurse nodded and helped me into a wheelchair. She pushed me into the room right next to mine and wheeled me in. Annabeth was laying in bed. She had scratches all over her face and arms, I'm guessing from the windshield breaking, she had several machines and wires connected to her belly, plus a few connected to her arms too.

I had the nurse push me to her bedside. I reached up and held her hand, bringing my face to hers and gently kissing the cuts. "Can you make a phone call for me?" I asked the nurse.

"Of course! Who to?"

"Chiron at Camp Halfblood Strawberry fields. Tell him that Percy and Annabeth are here and to send the 7. Then make one to Sally Blowfis and tell her we are here." I gave her the numbers. She looked at me strangely but I didn't care.

Right now I only focused on my Annabeth and our unborn child. They had to survive.

They had to survive.
