The more you came to know Asahi Azumane, the more you fell in love with the gentle giant. He had been nothing short of sweet, kind, caring, and gentle to you in the four months of your friendship and you were grateful to have met someone as nice as him. It was actually quite surprising to know that despite his appearance, he was actually not quite what he seemed to be. Although his acts of kindness were often mistaken as something else entirely (like how you did when you first met him), he remained the gentle and caring person he was, not minding that as long as he had done a good deed (or attempted to anyways).
"Asahi!" you called out to him, waving your hands frantically in the air to try and catch his attention. When you had received no reply, you flicked the back of his head softly as soon as you reached him, making him wince and turn to face you. As soon as he saw who it was, he immediately perked up and sent you a smile. "Ah! [L/N]! Good morning!" he greeted you cheerfully, matching your pace as the both of you walked to school together. When Asahi had learned that you lived in the same neighborhood as he did, he was ecstatic and asked if that maybe the both of you could walk to school together to get to know each other better. Ever since then, it had been a daily ritual for the both of you to walk to school in each other's company, talking about trivial things and asking questions about each other. When it came to the point that you knew so much about each other that the both of you had no idea in what to ask, you began to talk about whatever you wanted to talk about, the long walk to school now seemingly shorter now that you had some good company.
"Asahi-san! [F/N]!" Hinata called out to you both from the school entrance. When you both turned to look at your orange-haired friend, he began to wave frantically and point to the gates, jumping up and down as he did so.
"What?" you called out to him as you slowly started to get closer to him. "One... minute... gate... be late!" was what you managed to make out from his shouting.
Realization finally dawned on you as you looked at your watch. "Oh no..." you groaned, grabbing Asahi's hand as you started to break into a run. "We have a minute left before they close the gate!"
"He- hey! Wait a minute!" Asahi stammered, looking at your hand which was tightly wrapped around his. "Your hand..."
You rolled your eyes, fighting the blush that threatened to appear on your cheeks if you thought about it any longer.
"C'mon, Asahi! You don't want to be late, do you?"

"We... made... it!" you collapsed onto the concrete, breathing heavily as Asahi wiped the sweat from his face, not as exhausted as you were. He was used to it, after all.
"Woah!" Hinata exclaimed, his eyes sparkling in wonder. "Did you see how fast [F/N] was running? She was like, swoosh and then vroom and bam!" he explained waving his hands to prove his point. Asahi sweat dropped.
"Uh... yeah. I was running with her," he said to the little ball of energy. Hinata just ignored him and continued to jump up and down, repeating the words, 'swoosh, vroom, and bam' every time he explained how fast you were. It wasn't a very accurate explanation, to say the least.
