"What did you say?" The bespectacled boy asked, as it was the only thing he could think of to say. To say that he was shocked was an understatement, he was befuddled and profoundly confused. The male before him looked up from his bowed position, blonde locks fell over his silver eyes, slightly obstructing his vision, but he didn't have to move his hair to know what kind of face the other made.

"I said, I Draco Malfoy am here to apologize to you Harry Potter for my past actions and words" He said, his voice serene and calm, "I know my actions have hurt you and your friends and i greatly regret every single one of them I acted foolishly, childishly and not very much like a pureblood. I came here to make up for what i have done, show you i am different and hopefully become someone you can call a friend"

Harry was speechless again as the other repeated himself, still bent over with his head down. He turned to his friends who were both equally as shocked and bewildered as him, they didn't know what to make of the situation. They had never seen the proud and arrogant Malfoy apologize to anyone let alone bow to them. In the three years they knew Draco they only expected the worse, as he was a very thoughtless and mean person, to them and to other Gryffindors.

"um, Malfoy" Harry said, the blonde looked up at him with peering curiosity, his face void of any emotions that would betray him. Harry was blank, he wanted to respond but he was out f words and knew he would only say his name once more. He hoped Hermione would say something but she too seemed lose for words, she only gaped at Draco, her bushy hair tied up in a ponytail, as they had just finished cleaning up the garden. She looked at Harry with an apologetic expression, she really didn't have a smart respond.

"What are you doing" a broken and cracked voice spoke, it belonged to Ron, are you planning something Malfoy?" Ron demanded as he walked forward. Draco didn't flinch, "you don't trust my word Weasley?" Draco questioned

"What do you think?" he retorted sarcastically, "you're our bloody enemy!"

"I know" Draco straightened, "but i can prove my words" Draco tossed his wand to the floor which surprised the trio as he disarmed himself, open to any attack. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a vial and showed it to them, "do you know what this is?" Draco asked, Harry shook his head.

Hermione gasped, "V-Veritaserum!" Draco smiled. "correct" Draco took off the top, "with three drops of this you will know if i'm lying or not"

"How is it possible for you to have it? It's age restricted and can only b administered by the ministry" Hermione covered her mouth, eyes wide, "only potion masters are able to create them"

"Correct again Granger, I stole this from my god father Severus Snape," he narrowed his eyes at the clear liquid, "took me a month to steal this from his private potions, it'll take another month to replace it" he sighed

"Snape is your Godfather?" Harry finally spoke, Draco nodded. Harry pushed his hair back, his lighting shaped scar visible, it made so much sense considering how unfairly Snape was only to them and how he favored Draco.

"Anywho, here is the antidote" he handed another vile to them, Harry took it and moved back to where he stood, pressing the vial to his lips Draco took three gulps. The effects of the potion already in affect, his eyes mystified and blank, still and unmoving. The three shared a look as they were unsure what to ask Draco, what was their to ask the blonde? They had to many questions filling their minds but they didn't know where to start, or even if they wanted to ask. They wanted to know if he was lying but they weren't sure if a drugging Draco was a good idea to get the truth, well Harry and Hermione were unsure.Ron was giddy, he hated the bastard and wouldn't trust him with the family owl.

"Should we.... Should we start?" the boys nodded, Hermione took a deep breath, "W-what is your name?"

"Draco Malfoy" he spoke in a monotone voice, she gulped. Well that was a good start, at least she knew it was a start. She looked at the two, Ron stepped up his face serious.
