I look in the mirror.
I see an ordinary girl.
Slightly flabby, slightly short.
Not good looking at all.
But behind all that, I see a boy.
Not your typical kind of boy, though.
This boy has expressed himself,
But the society tries to make the girl suppress him.
She refuses to.
What does that cost her?
You would be surprised how much.
The girls don't relate to her because she isn't your typical girl.
"It's a girl thing", they say, "you're such a guy. You won't get it."
The boys feel uncomfortable around her because she isn't one of them.
"You're a girl",they say,"You shouldn't be saying such things."
Then where does she stand?
Lost in the middle,
Not knowing where to go.
People say, a girl trapped in a boy is worse than a boy trapped in a girl.
I say, looking at the girl in the mirror,"Is that so?"
