The Girl Beyond Saving (A Mindcrack Fanfic)

Prologue

It was raining that day and a blue and red haired girl was walking to visit her older brother who lived not that far away. Soon the unthinkable happens. A man who speeds through the area on any normal day spins out and heads straight for her. She doesn't have time to run or move. She feels pain and then everything is black. The man calls an ambulance and turns himself in to the police.

Four hours later while preparing for a recording Vechs from Mindcrack receives a phone call from his mom. She says what he has feared since his sister started walking to visit him. His sister had been hit by a car and had died. Vechs felt all manner of happiness drain from him. He had planned to take his sister to lunch to celebrate an award she would be getting. She had been receiving an award for being the youngest person to start a foundation to help people. Vechs felt his head start pounding. She was the one who knew about his crush on his friend Chad. He couldn't think. He called Chad on Skype immediately. Chad answered only to see Vechs in Tears.
"Vechs?! What's wrong?!", Chad exclaimed over the call.
"My little sister died Chad, my little sister was hit by a car and died in the hospital. It hurts Chad, I can't breathe. I...I", Vechs said through tears but trailed off. Chad texted the other Mindcrackers, They all agreed to visit since they all knew Vechs' little sister and they loved her. Plus they had to make sure Vechs was ok. Vechs knew he would be ok in time but right now it hurt, he looked at his phone. There was one text from his sister.
'Hey Bro, I'm almost there so we can go and celebrate! I'm super excited I can't wa--'
The text ended. He knew his sister probably accidentally sent it but that was sent four hours ago when the accident happened. He decided to text her phone even if he wouldn't get a reply.
'Hey sis, cool sorry for replying late but I know what happened four hours ago. Please tell me I'm only dreaming, please tell me your not dead. I love you please don't leave me sis'
But sadly no reply. Vechs felt himself snap with Chad still watching him do all this. Vechs promised his sister something but right now he couldn't do it he couldn't bring himself to ask Chad out like Vechs had promised his sister he would do. Maybe one day when things are better. He will ask Chad out. Maybe one day he will enter his sister's room again and look at the memories she left.
