A/N: Don't get used to these regular updates. I doubt it's gonna last for much longer.

Ian laid down on his bed in shock and touched his lip, reliving the sensation. Anthony had kissed him. On the lips. For no apparent reason at all other than he wanted his 3DS back. He couldn’t help feeling angry at himself, like he could have done more to stop what was happening. No way was he going to let Anthony take advantage of him. Not after what had previously happened between them. Just thinking about it made him feel sick inside. It made no sense to him at all and Ian really wanted things to just go back to normal…whatever normal meant anyway.  Either way, he wasn’t going to put up with this for much longer. He needed to confront Anthony. Deciding that his thoughts weren’t getting him anywhere, Ian snuggled under the covers and attempted to get some sleep.

Ian rolled over and sighed when he was the numbers glaring at him on his digital clock. 5:30 am it read. He had hardly slept at all but he knew that it would be too difficult to fall back asleep. The problem was that there wasn’t really that much to do at this time… unless he went running. Running always cleared his head. Ian stretched his arms out as he sat up and let out a gaping yawn. He swung his legs out of bed, careful not to make too much noise as to awaken Anthony, and began getting dressed. He made sure to put his inhaler in his pocket and slowly opened his bedroom door. After grabbing a water bottle from the kitchen, he double checked that he had what he needed before heading out of the door.

Anthony raised his eyebrows slightly when he heard the front door close. Where was Ian going at this time in the morning? This was early even for him. Ian must have presumed he was still asleep but Anthony was wide awake. It was one of those days when you wake up too early and despite still being exhausted, your body takes forever to go back to sleep. He had been keeping himself occupied by scrolling through Tumblr to see some of the weird things that fans posted about them. That was always entertaining, although sometimes mentally scarring. He smirked at some of the edits people made; their fans had way too much time on their hands. It was gratifying that people cared enough about them to spend their time creating content related to them but it got creepy sometimes. Eventually, Anthony felt his eyelids getting heavy. Before he knew it, he was fast asleep once again.

Ian returned to the house at around seven thirty, tired and sweaty after a long run. It had definitely made him feel better. When he stepped into the house, he was surprised to see Anthony sitting on the couch. “What are you doing up this early?” Ian asked him.

“I could ask you the same thing,” Anthony replied. “You left hours ago.”

“Yeah well…I needed the fresh air,” Ian said and he ran a hand through his sweaty hair. “Anyways, I need to go shower.”

Anthony nodded in response as Ian walked off to the bathroom. Ian closed the door behind him and let out a heavy sigh. He couldn’t help feeling confused. Anthony had been acting completely normal, as though the events of yesterday had never happened. It was kind of weird considering the average person doesn’t just go around kissing their best friend with no explanation at all. Maybe ignoring the whole ordeal was just Anthony’s way of dealing with things. Ian sighed once again and stripped down. It was tiring trying to read Anthony’s mind all the time. Hopefully he would be able to explain it for himself.

It was already the afternoon and Ian still hadn’t worked up the courage to talk to him. It wasn’t that he was scared of Anthony or how he would react; it was more to do with not knowing exactly what to say to him. What if Anthony thought he was just overreacting and didn’t listen to him properly? He had trouble getting through to him these days. It made him kind of sad how he couldn’t really connect with Anthony the way he used to. As much as he wanted to deny it, Anthony was changing before his eyes and Ian had no idea what had brought it on. If he wasn’t careful he could end up losing him as a friend.
