Chapter 11: The Letter.

Luna was peacefully sleeping until she heard a distressed yell. She opened her eyes and saw Kyro sleeping on top of her. She shoved his face off of her neck and sat up. Kyro growled and opened a drowsy eye, "I was using that."

"I think someones in trouble." Luna whimpered. 

The leader gave her ear a quick lick before hoping out of the blanket. Gin rushed into the tent, "Leader! We found Ike dead in the forest- From the look of those cuts it looks like you two had a fun night."

Kyro grabbed his scruff and threw him outside with a growl, "Keep your mind out of the gutter for once!" 

Luna quickly brushed her hair then met the others outside. Soldiers were just starting to wake up from their drug induced sleep. Megan rushed over to Luna and hugged her, "Kyro you need to be more gentle with poor Luna!" she said with a grin

Kyro narrowed her eyes and gave her the death glare. He snatched her back and put a hand on her shoulder, "Ike was a spy working for Fox, he drugged you all with the drinks last night."

Gin stared at us, "Wait really? What else happened?"

"He frinking tried to kidnap Luna and deliver her back to the mountain of lost souls." He snarled lashing his tail. "I saw him and cut him off before he could reach it. We fought in the rapids for a bit until I finished him off."

"It looks like you tried to hug Megan." Gin muttered.

Everyone blankly stared at him, Megan smacked him up the back of the head. "What shall we do with his body?" Megan asked.

"Throw it into their territory as a sign of what happens to spies." Kyro growled grabbing Luna tighter. Luna wiggled and tried to escape but it was no use. 

"So we just have to threaten Luna to reveal leader's sadistic side, good to know." The silver male joked. 

"Touch her you die." Kyro mumbled. 

Dayton ran up to us panting, "Gin... Megan.... the prisoner is acting up. Please come right away, she's muttering nonsense!" 

The siblings looked at each other then ran towards the tent. Kyro and I followed closely behind, inside we could hear struggling and yelling. "Do you think she got her memory back?" Luna asked.

"Don't touch me you ugly demons!" 

"I'm taking that as a yes." Kyro grunted. He grabbed her ears and started tugging on them, "We should give them some time alone."

"You just want me to go back into your tent so you can cuddle." Luna muttered crossing her arms. 

He nodded, "I've been holding back for years..."

"I want to make sure they're alright, want to go get my dagger?" Luna asked. He shrugged and unfolded his wings, "Leggo."

They flew over the forest and started searching where Kyro intercepted her and Ike. He flew closer to her than usual as he scanned the dewy grass. Luna saw a glimmer and started to descend. Her dark purple and silver dagger was stabbed into the earth. She sighed in relief and picked it up, "Thank Canis." She looked over near their fishing pond, "Is Ike still..."

"I had a patrol deal with it." Kyro murmured, "I should have been more careful on who I let join."

"It's alright you didn't know, it was almost for the better. Are your cuts healing? I swear you get hurt worse every day." Luna asked looking at him. He flicked her face with his tail, "Wanna come to my tent and check for yourself?"

Luna chuckled and pushed his face away. They looked over towards Fox's territory, "Hey Kyro, how do you think they passed messages without you knowing?"
