Across the universe

 (P.S. I wrote this ages ago but am planning on continuing here, so I am just posting it now and eventually I'll update it XD)

After two hours of studying my mum finally told me that I can get out of my room. “What a relief”, I thought. I could smell what mum was cooking and for the first time it smelled nice. Usually my dad cooks for us but he has been very busy working in his room lately. I ran down the stairs and grabbed my coat. It was raining outside and I really hated getting wet. My friends waited for me at a park down the street. The rain was getting stronger and it started to gust. I couldn’t get to the park. I knew that it was going to happen. They went to the movies without me. I looked at the ground beneath, with a sad expression and went back home. But suddenly out of nowhere a big tornado started coming straight towards my street. And the ground was shaking. I think that it was a huge earthquake. Somebody grabbed my hand and pulled me really hard. I couldn’t see or hear anything because of the big storm. Few minutes later I was back home and the person who grabbed my arm was my dad.

“Hurry up! “He shouted and ran to his room. “Come on, Seige, hurry up! “Mom said following him. The moment I opened the grey door of the secret room I was so surprised that I ignored my mum and dad calling me. It was like a big laboratory with things I didn’t know existed and in the middle of it there was a huge thing. It looked like some kind of a machine. It was white and it had a big circle inside designed for something to stand on it. My dad told me to get inside of it and I did it with much curiosity. I gently touched the glass of the machine and it opened. Dad told me to step on the whitest circle that was down below. I stepped on it. My mum touched a big blue button and they both waved at me with tears in their eyes. The glass closed. Dad was telling me something but I couldn’t hear it. Somehow I did read his lips. He said “We will miss you! “. I was a bit afraid of what is going to happen and why he said that. Suddenly I didn’t see my parents anymore. It was like I was swallowed into a big black hole. Just a second later I was in a big forest. I fell out of machine and it disappeared. I was lying on soft ground. It smelled like some kind of fruit. But there was no fruit or vegetables, just some old trees with few leaves on them. I got up and I heard rushing water. I was very thirsty so I ran to it. I came to a place where the water was but nobody was there. I only saw a small house on the other side of the river. The first thing I did was trying to drink it. I tasted it. It was peppery. I spit it out immediately. Then a small breeze played with my hair. I could smell something in it. Somebody was coming. I tried to hide behind the tree. I waited there for 10 minutes but nobody showed up. Assuming that there is nobody near the river, except me, I went to try the water one more time. At the moment that I grabbed it an old man showed up next to me. He was wearing an outfit for martial arts. I think that he was Asian by his looks. He also had big white beard tied up and short white hair. His eyes were closed. I screamed because of the surprise. “What are you doing in these woods, young lady? “He asked me quietly” Well I was just trying to get a drink. “I answered, wondering what he will say. On my surprise he didn’t say anything for a while. “What is that on your hand, some kind of a ring? “He asked “Well it is a ring that my grandma gave to me when I was younger, she said that it is very special, why do you ask? “. “That ring is the most wanted thing around here and you shouldn’t be in this forest while wearing it. You could get in lot of trouble! “He said like he was very mad. I wonder what does my grandma’s ring has to do with this forest. Actually, I wondered, where am I at all?
