My Vampire Romance {ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!}

Chapter Six

After I saw Killian suddenly ran out of the café earlier that day, I wonder, what made him run away in fear?

Was it because he didn't want me, to see his vampire face even though I have before? Or was it something else; is there something else, some deep dark secret that he has not told me about?

20th October 2009

I sat down on my bed that night, staring at the stars thinking about Killian, Multiple questions in my mind that I want to ask him; but will he answer them truthfully? I'm not even sure... dreaming about his strikingly handsome face, I fell fast asleep on my pillow.

The next day, I went to the university alone as Holly was ill with the flu. Stepping inside my class, I was about to greet Killian when I was stopped by his brother, Matthew.

I gasped at the sight of him. "Matthew, what are you doing here? Have you come to insult me some more?"

He smirked, tightening the grip on my arm "No I'm just here to see what my dearest younger brother is doing and... you"

I gasped at his comment and attempted to get away from him but he is too strong, even for a vampire.

Matthew pulled me towards him forcefully and looked at me with his eyes, his dark green eyes softened for a moment before returning back to the arrogant Matthew that I know.

"Stay away from my brother Lisa, I'm telling you he is up to no good" he whispered. I wasn't sure if the words from his mouth were true but as far as I could tell, Killian is a sweet guy and cares for me so much.

Feeling angry because he is trying to tell me what to do and has threatened me!

I retracted my arm harshly from his grip and slapped him across the face, shocking him and the rest of the class.

"Lisa!" Killian ran across the room to protect me from his brother, "Are you alright?"

He put both of his hands on my face to check for any injuries, but was relieved when I didn't find any; I had a very lucky escape thankfully.

Killian stood close to his brother and hissed at him, his eyes red and his veins were prominent on his skin. I gasped but relieved that it wasn't aimed at me.

"Stay away from her, I mean it Matthew! Stay away from Lisa and me, Why are you so hell-bent in ruining my life again?!"

'Ruined his life? What had Matthew done to ruin Killian's life? Was it someone important to Killian? A former girlfriend? Friend?'

Matthew looked at me and back at Killian again and he left without a word, somewhat feeling guilty but showed no remorse of what he had done but I still had questions.

Killian breathed deeply and calmly as his vampire face slowly vanished, it was thankfully back to normal, his green eyes are shining with glee and kissed my forehead with a sigh. I closed my eyes with the satisfaction that he was alright.

"Now Lisa, ready to go back to class?" He smiled down at me, and I nodded, taking his arm to lead me to the class, ready for the rest of the day.

After a long but eventful day at university, I decided to head off to home, unaware that someone was watching me, but I shrugged it off.

After getting home, I checked on Holly, who is laying down on her bed sneezing severely. I offered to make her some chicken soup, which is her favourite.

After making her some soup and paracetamol, she was asleep. After watching re-runs of Pretty Little Liars, the doorbell rang... Feeling a bit shaky and agitated, I went to open the door and there I saw him, the face I had hoped I'd never see.

"Matthew, what do you want?" I asked rudely, if I was a vampire, I'd be threatening, if I were a werewolf, I'd be snarling at him but I was neither of those things so probably didn't appear very threatening to him.
