3rd person POV
Is was a normal day in the life of Jess (above). She woke up, got ready for school, got ignored by her father because he was busy with work, and picked up her best friend before heading to school. Jess was a senior in highschool she had brown straight hair and practically never smiled ever since her childhood friend Jake dissapeared 10 years ago, and she could never forget the day it happened.Flashback
Jess and Jake were playing outside like they did everyday it started getting late when Jess's mother called her for dinner "Jessica dinners ready!" Jess looked at her best friend and sighed "I guess I have to go but we will play tommorow right?" She said to Jake who smiled "Of course I mean we are best friends forever." She smiled and turned to go home she turned around when she was by the door and waved goodbye waiting until he waved back to go inside. The next day Jess waited for Jake but he never came, she became worried and went to ask her mom if she could check on him since he didn't live far away. That's when she went inside to find Jake's mom crying she knew something was wrong and that's when her father spoke up "Sweety we have some bad news...." She was confused since she was only 8 but she stayed serious since she could feel something was wrong "Jake has... Disappeared..." Jess was shocked she couldn't take it she ran to her room crying 'what if I never saw him again' was all she could think and she never did see him again.Jess hasn't smiled since. She was inturupted from her thoughts by her friend Lindy knocking on her window to unlock the car door she didn't even realize when she got there. She brushed it off and once Lindy got in the car she drove to school. She thought the rest of her day would go as normal as ever but she didn't expect what would happen to her that day... That was the day her father would tell her that after she graduates she will get married to Daniel, the son of the owner who owns a rival company, so her father's company and Daniel's family company can join together because it was there destiny...
