Taken over

The day THEY took over.

As me and my best friend Caleb, walked through the park, mid sentence he was interrupted by a siren "every one to the underground safe houses" the voice echoed through the town "what to you think that's about" Caleb asks. "Dunno I say". We get in our car and drive quickly to the safe house, they are about to lock our car up but the security guard sees that we have no supplies. "Sorry but your going to have to go and get food, water blankets you know safety kits, stuff like that."

"Ok, I reverse the car out and drive quickly grabbing things I need seeing that my family has already been and grabbed their things. I run upstairs grab camera, phone and iPod charger, photo album, sleeping bag, pillow, grab a bag shove some clothes, shoes a towel. Then I grab my safety kit and ran down stairs. Muesli bars, chips, Cruskets, biscuits, fruit, last night leftover lasagne, sausages and rissoles they will be needed to be used soon, but at least they could be used instead of other supplies. Then I grab a few other snacks and grab two sharp knives that have covers and fill a lot of water bottles filled of water. I then grab my bags and put them in the car I drive quickly to Caleb's.

He grabs similar stuff to me once he's finished I drive quickly to the safe house. And sadly none of my family was there but the guy that sent shock waves through me when looked at me was here, Luke...man he was gorgeous with his adorable little sister we joined them and they had a lot of supplies, we will be powerful and Caleb's also had a good knife too.

We layed out blankets to lie on and put our bags close. Ladies are telling others the apocalypse is actually here and the zombies are coming, one of them walks over.

But I don't let Lucy hear, she can't. I put a finger up to tell the lady to wait a second she does I nod to her as I pick up Lucy and walk away, I take her to the toilets while the lady tells luke and Caleb. "Kailea" (Kay-lea). "yes Lucy" "I miss my mummy and my family". "I know sweetie, I miss mine too, Luke is a great brother and he loves you so at least your with him and not with Georgia." I tell her."Yeah if I cried Georgia would say grow up you baby". Lucy replies"Yeah I know she's not a good big sister, but Luke is good and he loves you, and I promise I'll look after you too." I say and give her kiss on the forehead. (She's about seven or five idk).

We walk back and am relieved that the lady has walked away an that the boys are setting up our area. This safe house allocates places depending in how many and they have us tall fences so people can't steal.

We have same lasagne we all share and there is still half of the container left, none of us eat heaps we know its important. I get a text from my mum "darling, are you ok? I miss you, worried". I reply with "yeah I'm in a safe house with Luke and Caleb and Lucy. I miss you too xx." She would be happy that I'm with people who will take care of me. I settle down with Lucy in the middle of Luke and I and Caleb next to me.
