Aimee's POV
It's only been 4 hours since Ross told me that he'll get me when I least expect it. I've been in my room all day and haven't left it since. Until my stomach growls like a hungry bear.
"Fuck" I silently say to myself.
I get out of the bed and slowly open the door. Before stepping out of the room, I look left, then right, and bolt it down the stairs. I walk into the kitchen and open the cabinet. I grab some ramen noodles and put them in the microwave. After they're done cooking I quickly take them out and grab a fork. I debate whether or not I want to go back upstairs or sit in the living room. I finally decide to sit in the living room. I grab the remote and turn on the TV, putting on some Supernatural. As I'm watching, I hear something behind me. I turn the volume down on the TV and slowly turn around.
"Hello?" I say, "is anybody there? Ross?" I shrug it off and turn back around to find a man with a gun.
"ROSS" I screamed. The man covers my mouth with his hand.
"Shut up, bitch" he says in a raspy low voice. I can almost feel my heart beat out of my chest. I look away from the man.
"Please don't hurt me" I muttered.
"I said shut up!" He yelled back at me. He forcefully put the gun to my head, but didn't shoot. He grabbed me by my hair and lifted me off the couch. I wince from the pain and he slaps me.
"How many times do I have to tell you. SHUT. UP."
I begin to cry and can feel the fear inside me.
Ross's POV
I grab the baby powder and head downstairs to see a man holding Aimee captive.
"Get away from her!" I shout. The man looks up at me and points the gun in my direction. Before I could do anything, I hear a thud as the tall man falls to the ground. Aimee had kicked him straight in the back. The man scrambled off the ground and ran out the door.
I run to her and grab her, pulling her into an embrace. She silently cries while I stand there rocking her back and forth.

Ok so I know this wasn't a lot, but......cut me some slack lol. I haven't updated this in a really long time because of school and extremely major writers block. I really would like to get 2,000 reads on this so I'm gonna try to update more frequently. Please comment and vote. Also comment any ideas you might have for the next chapter!
