The Children of the big three

Chapter 4

This is chapter four of the children of the big three. Enjoy!

Time skip: 7 years (the little big three are 12.

"Percy! Thalia! Nico! Leo! Jason! Hazel! Come down!"

Leo groaned. He was halfway done with his new project. He ran down the stairs and into the formal living room.

He still couldn't believe what his life was like. He had 5 almost siblings, a family and everything he'd ever wanted. Apollo had blessed him as well and he could also control light now and had the best archery skills of the little big three, bar Thalia who was blessed by Artemis. His eyes had gold specks  in them. Thalia can control moonlight as well and has silver specks in her eyes. Percy was blessed by Hestia, so he can summon food, a small amount of fire and hope. His eyes have fiery specks in them. Jason was blessed by Mercury so he can lie well and trick people and is very fast and has brown specks in his eyes. Nico was blessed by Demeter and can control plants and has green specks in his eyes. Hazel was blessed by Trivia and could control the mist and has grey misty specks in her eyes.

Zeus, Poseidon, Hades and Hephaestus were waiting for them in the formal living room.

"You will start mortal school soon," Zeus told them. "Firstly, we will give you your weapons and some other things later. Secondly, the school is for troubled children. We are only sending you there because it is the only school in the country without a satyr. Thirdly, your things have been packed, you just have to add other items. Finally, if you are found by Camp Demigod people, you can go with them. But do not reveal your powers until we claim you during your  night there. All demigods are claimed by the campfire. Do not reveal your weapons until after your claiming unless you say it was given to you by your Father before he left. Above all, do not tell them about your training! You can show off in sword fighting, but that's it. No one should know."

We all nodded solemnly.

"Good. Now here are your weapons." Poseidon said.

Zeus handed Thalia a lightning bolt hair clip that turned into her bow and quiver as well as her spear. The silver link bracelet on her wrist turned into a replica (Argh, I've been listening to Athena too much!) of Aegis.

Jupiter gave Jason a coin with the letters 'Ivlivs' that turned into a sword on heads and a lance on tails. He also got a black cuff bracelet that was his shield.

Poseidon gave Percy a pen that turned into a sword named Anaklusmos or Riptide in Greek, and a silver bracelet that turned into a shield.

Hades gave Nico a skull ring that turned into his stygian iron sword and a black steel cuff bracelet that turned into his shield.

Pluto gave Hazel a diamond hair pin  that turned into a sword made of a mix of Stygian iron and imperial gold and her torch of mist as well as a gold ring that was her shield.

Hephaestus gave Leo a belt that would blend in with his clothes and when the buckle was pressed would turn into a tool belt. He could pull his bow and arrows out of it. He also gave him a bronze ring that turned into a shield.

The weapons would return to their pockets when they were lost. They also received silver lockets that allowed them to talk to each other. The lockets had a picture of each other.

Time skip: six months later at Yancy Academy for troubled kids

Percy POV

I walked down the halls to get to my first period of the day. As I did I thought about what we had found out so far.

The gods were right about being found by people from Camp Demigod. The same term they arrived, Grover also joined. He seemed to have all the signs that pointed towards 'satyr'.
