RESIST

Chapter 1

What is going on ? There's smoke, much smoke. I'm lost. I look around and see nothing, I don't see anyone, which makes me think: "Where is Eleanor?". Where is everyone ?

The only thing I can remember is that I and my friends were in a camp, vacation. Everyone was having fun, Ophelia and Gemma were sitting on the grass talking, Liam, Beck and Ashok were playing football and I and Jasper were on the lake.Suddenly a smoke shrouded us, uniformed men got out of a car carrying guns. I saw a woman too. She was all in black, wearing high heels and a giant blond hair.
- Len!!!!
I was shot. It was not a normal bullet, was one of those darts with sleeping pill. With seconds I was down.

Everything is destroyed. Now there is no civilization, is all forest. Eleanor was shot and taken by those men. And that woman... Who is she ? What the heel is happening ? I'll blame myself for life if something happens to Lenny, she was on my side, I could have done somethin. I start walking in search of something, actually I don't know what I'm looking for, I'm completely lost. The night is coming and I need shelter. I picked up some wood for making a fire and sit beneath a large tree.

There is a bright light in my face, I can not open my eyes completely. There are people talking too, it is cold, very cold. I can't move, but I feel many things in my body. I try to open my eyes again and see a white ceiling, I am in a closed place.

- The procedure is ready, ma'am.

- Good. You can start.

- Authorization for the procedure.

- Procedure? What will they do to me? - I think.

Some "doctors" approach me, put something in my head. 'Oh my God, this is hurting me! Stop it, your son of bitch!'. My body stays unharmed and my thoughts are running out, I'm falling asleep again.

Near the tree where I am, I found a backpack full of things. Some clothes, that will be very useful now. A wallet, which when I opened noticed that belonged to Liam because inside of it was a picture of Lenny, sister of Liam and Willow, his girlfriend. Oh man! I remember that day! Was Liam's 21 birthday party. Lenny was so drunk that couldn't stop laughing, this explains the big smile. I seek more in search of a cellphone, but didn't find anything on Liam's backpack. 
I breathe slowly, I can't sleep. I wait until dawn to find out what is happening. I think they want to catch us, but why ? Who are they ?

I can feel my body again, but I can't open my eyes or speak. I'm awake. Those people are talking again, I don't listen very well. They're talking about my name, about a wall, security. I try to open my eyes again, someone is approaching.

- Hello, my love. Are you okay?

Who is this woman ? I don't remember very well, but I know her.

- Sweetie ? Wake up, it's okay. You just got a little bit sick, its everything okay now.

She held out her hand and I got up slowly from the stretcher I was.

- You know where you are?

- Yes. Ahn...

- You know who I am ?

- Yes, you're the boss of the ministers, Ms Helena. The president of the "UC".

- Yes, that's right. Now I need you to tell me about you, about your life.

- I'm Eleanor. Eleanor Campbell. I'm 20 and I have no family.
