Ally's POV
He had that fire, the fierceness that made him different from others his age.
He had the maturity that I've never seen on a person his age.
And yet, the pureness (yes I finally found a word other than innocence...) was always present.
You just wanted to protect him, and never let him feel pain again.
I needed his first name, it's weird calling him Zyder. I can just tell if he went to school, he would be instantly popular. Just those eyes alone, they pierce your soul with a mere glance. Besides, he was cute. Well, if I was a 13 year-old girl I'd say he's hot, but I'm not so... But you can't deny he's cute.
"Ally?" Austin's voice pulls me from my deep thoughts.
"Huh?" I say, looking around. The tinted windows prevented me from doing so though.
"We're here." He replies softly, looking at me with concern.
"You okay?" He questions.
"Fine, just a bit rattled is all. Let's go." He takes my hand, and we step out of the car.
Almost immediately, four bodies enclose us in a tight circle. Their bodies were tense, and had their hand poised on their guns, which were in their holsters. If they were going for an undercover look, it wasn't working out. Especially with the uniforms...
They led us into a house, that looked dirty and in shambles on the outside. Yet on the inside it looks like a very sleek and classy house.
"You can go look around, the windows are one way so you're safe. Everything is bullet-proof as well, just don't leave the house. We'll all be around the house if you need us." One of the four says.
Austin and I walk around, still holding hands. I stare in awe, it was like a mansion! After a walk-around I saw there were six bedrooms, three bathrooms,-not counting ones downstairs-a giant kitchen stocked with food to last for months, a living room, and even an indoor pool!
When I asked why it was more like a normal house, they answered saying that they wanted the victims to not feel like they're trapped and being hunted down. They also mentioned that the house was full of secret passages, each leading to a safe room. Inside was provisions in case someone needed to stay in there.
When we got back to the living room, the four people were seated on the couches. Two had laptops in their laps, typing away. While the other two were chatting about something. When we came in the room their heads snapped up, staring at us. We barely made a sound with our footsteps, they must've been trained really well.
Duh!
They are spies after all! One of them, a man that looked to be about 30, motioned for us to sit down on the couch. So we did, Austin putting an arm around my shoulders. The girl smiled at us, she didn't even look old enough to be considered a young adult....
"We'll take you to your rooms later, but for now I think it would be a good idea to get to know each other. Since ya know, we are going to be living in one house for quite awhile!" The girl squeals, acting more like the inner girly girl she was than the spy.
"Alright Violet, we get it. Don't need to damage our hearing..." So her name was Violet. I look at the guy who said that, he looked to be in his early 20's. The words were harsh but his smile denied all of that. You could see he cared for her, like a little sister.
"Shush Damien, I'm getting to know them!" Violet says. The guys name must be Damien.
"First let's introduce ourselves before anything Vi." The older man says.
