Overdue (Stevie & Ally)

Chapter 14

(Sarah's POV)

As we are driving down the street, I turn on the radio and change it to the pop station. Rachel smiles at me and says,"Music lover?" I say,"Depends on what type, but I would say so." Rachel smiles again and starts to relax in her seat. We finally get the canyon entrance and there are no cars to be heard. I say,"Better hold on again." Rachel laughs and says,"I've doubled my seatbelt. I'm ready." I then speed up into the canyon and it's so... I'm not sure what feeling. Like its happiness, like when you are Disneyland sort of thing. The music suddenly floods into my ears and the lyrics make sense. Rachel says,"I love this song!" It's the song "This Is What You Came For" by Calvin Harris featuring Rihanna. I glance over at Rachel, and she's smiling. Almost like this is the best thing in the world right now. I find myself smiling and I haven't felt this happy in a while. We then finish going through the canyon and there is a small restaurant called The Cats. I say,"I made a reservation there, hopefully that's ok?" Rachel says,"It's great, now let's eat." We both smile and I pull up to the restaurant. We both get out of the car and walk to the restaurant. I open the door for Rachel and says,"Oh thank you." I nod and smile and go over the little desk. I say,"Reservation for Sarah?" The man says,"Yes, we have you down for a table for 2?" I say,"That's correct." He smiles and says,"Follow me." I then wave Rachel over and we walk behind him to a table, and they have everything already set up. The man says,"Enjoy your evening, and tell your father I said hello." I smile and say,"Will do and thank you." I pull out Rachel's chair and then sit down in mine. Rachel says,"Wow, you really do know how to treat a girl." I laugh and say,"Well I mean... I don't want to brag but I know a few things here and there." We both smile and each other and laugh. Rachel says,"Why does this feel so normal? Being with you?" I say,"I've been wondering the same. Maybe it's because we work together." I then lift up the metal tops and there are foods that look beyond good. Rachel says,"Wow." I ask,"Impressed?" She laughs and says,"Maybe a little." I say,"Dig in." We both grab food from the plates and we begin to eat.

(Stevie's POV)
Ally sighs and says,"I mean... what do you wanna do?" I say,"I think... we are moving really fast in this relationship really fast because I feel like I barely know you." Ally says,"You do know me though. I know you." I sigh and say,"I just feel like we haven't been friends long enough to really... know each other." Ally says,"So what are you saying basically? Do you want to break up?" I take a deep breath and say,"I think that we should just really get to know each other better. Like for instance, I don't even know your favorite movie, or what kind of job you want." Ally says,"You have a point, but isn't that why we are dating? Because we like each other and we want to be together to know each other?" I say,"I just think we should take a small break. Like a few days to really just.... you know like see how each other are." Ally says suspiciously says,"I'm starting to think that you don't even want to be dating. Honestly, just tell me Stevie. I'm not going to be mad if that's the truth." I swallow and say,"It's not that I don't want, it's just that... I'm not sure it's the right timing for me. I'm kind of in the mood where I don't really want to date anyone...." Ally sighs and says,"Is that what's been bothering you?" I nod and Ally smiles. She says,"It's ok Stevie. It really is. Do you want to be friends?" I smile and say,"I would like that, and we can see where it goes from there after a while." We both sigh and Ally says,"So... What now?" I ask,"Wanna go to the mall or something?" Ally says,"Isn't that what best friends do?" I smile and laugh. I say,"Totally. Let's go Hills." We then both get up from the bed and walk to door and get in the car. I say,"Thank you for being so cool about this Ally. I know it's kind of an asshole move..." Ally says,"It's cool. I completely get it, I've been in this situation before." Ally then turns on the car, and turns on the radio. We then back out of the driveway and begin to race down the street.

Wow um... interesting chapter... We will shall have to see where it goes.(I didn't edit this so sorry for any mistakes!) I just noticed I haven't updated in a really long time, and this isn't too long of a chapter, but it's something for now lol. I was so heartbroken when Shannon and Cammie broke up 😭 and then Stevie and Ally, the fan fics are all we have left other than pictures and videos! Also, thank you so much to the people who told me to keep writing, even though I don't want to that much... I'll do it for y'all. :D Thank you all for the votes and the reads, and the comments!
