Carnival

A.N: hey guys im new so don't be too harsh comment with suggestions c:

~Pacifica's P.O.V.~

I look forward to a couple things today  I thought as I put on a purple skirt, shirt and white belt. I can be alone and away from my parents for at least a couple hours , No paparazzi, ...Mabel. I Shook my head to avoid the unwanted subject of mabel. I don't know what it is. I act mean to her but when i do...It hurts. I'll change it today. My parents aren't able to tell me to be mean today. Not today. I walked outside and walked over to the shack, I didn't trust the place but it was for her, to make amends.

-Knock knock knock-

I wait there for what seemed forever nervous and as i'm about to leave someone opens the doors 

"Uh...hi pacifica?" Dipper said with a confused look taking over his face.

"I need to talk to mabel" I said bluntly

Dipper looked back and called "Mabel your....friend? Is calling you!"

"Coming bro bro" She said hopping into the room tying one of her high top purple converse.

Dipper left the room as mabel was awkwardly trying to hurry and tie her shoe.

"Need some help?" I said awkwardly.

"I'm good" She said as she looked up to see who it was.

"Hi pacifica!" she smiled and hugged me.

"Hi mabel, listen-i've-been-pretty-rude-and-I think-we-should go-to the carnival togeth-"

She cut me off and giggled 

"Sure Paz"

God my heart melted

"I'll meet you at 8? here?? or?" I said with sweaty hands.

"I'll meet you at 8, at the shack's back door" she said smiling with braces shining.

"Okay, bye" I said as mabel hugged me. 

I walked into the woods nervous and in shock. Did I really do that? I sat on a log and thought for a bit and smile wide like never before. I sat there thinking for a couple minutes, at least that's what I thought. I checked the time 8:13

I walked back to the shack rushed and saw a sad looking mabel 

" Uh hey mabel sorry I got a bit caught up"

Her face lit up "Hi Paz! Uh i mean hey let's go?"

"Sure" I said smiling. 

It was already dark and I was looking at the bright ferris wheel. Mabel was looking to and I looked at her as we walked towards the wheel.

"Wanna ride that first?" she said looking down at my hand.

"Yea sure" I said my voice cracking nervously...she didn't know i was scared of heights.

Her hand grazed mine and butterflies flew wildly in my stomach.

"You okay? We don't have to ride it but i'll be sitting right next to you Paz"

"Yea, let's go" We waited a bit in silence as my mind was racing.

Mabel put put her hand to help me into the seat, the fireworks were about to start and thankfully the ride lasts pretty long. I grabbed her hand and sat down as she let go. 

"It's okay paz" she must've seen the fear in my eyes.

I looked at her, she was so beautiful. 

sigh "I'll be okay, I'll be okay" I said as we slowly elevated and I realized it wasn't so bad.

"Look we're at the top Paz" 

The ferris wheel stopped as we were at peak and the fireworks were going. 

Mabel was looking in awe at the fireworks excited by them and I looked at her. She turned towards me 

"What's wro-" Mabel was shushed by pacifica gently planting her lips on Mabel's.

Mabel's eyes went wide as pacifica pulled away. Mabel  put her hand on pacifica's chin and gently kissed her then, whispered in her ear:

 "Pacifica Northwest, I really like your existance"

Pacifica laughed and intertwined her's and Mabel's fingers.
