"Name?" the detention lady demanded.

"Umm...Ethan and Henry," I mumbled.

"*Sigh* you may take a seat," she said.

Me and Alex sat at a seat near the window and I saw someone pass through it. He suddenly jerked his head towards me and I felt a sharp jolt of electricity go through my body but mostly I felt something burning on my forehead. I reached up and touched my forehead and felt a mark. I made it out by moving my fingers through it making out a shape of a star. I once again looked out the window to see if the man was there but he was gone. I showed Alex the star and he gaped at it and I told him how I got it.

"Dude, does it hurt?" he asked

"It stings a little bit," I answered.

I wore my hooded jacket and covered the mark with my hoodie making sure that no one saw it as I walked down the hallway to class. My teacher Ms Naia was telling us the effects of different spells.

"Okay so this spell..." I couldn't hear the rest because the star on my forehead was starting to burn and blur my vision and block my hearing.

"Urggh"

"Dude you okay," Alex asked.

"I'm fine," I mumbled.

As I walked back home after school read a book about the four elements and their properties.

A flame represents fire. A wave represents water. A cloud represents wind. A leaf represents earth. Hmm what does a star represent.

I reached my house just as I flipped a page and on that page I saw a small star on the top right corner of the page.

Through this door, paradise awaits.
Once you go through, you will become great.
543947, use these numbers, it will lead you to your fate.

I didn't understand what it meant when I heard my mom call me. I folded the page to bookmark it and stuffed it in my pocket. Once I went in I smelled the aroma of delicious food. I ate dinner and went upstairs changing and getting ready for bed. Then I heard a knock on m window. I looked out of it to see what it was.

"Alex, is that you?"
