The way I see this question there is no wrong answer. Commenting may help an author fix mistakes or get feedback from the readers but it can be a way for people to randomly hate on books. The comments I mostly see are supportive but because the of the way Wattpad is set up (must be 13 to join ) there are also people that just don't like books because of the genre. I'm not trying to discriminate but the most dominating group of people on Wattpad are girls in their early teens. Because of this smaller groups tend to attack the main groups favourite genre's these include Fan-Fiction,Romance,Were-Wolf,Vampire and Teen. I'm not saying that all teenage girls only read these genres but the majority do. If you want proof go into the search page and look up the top genres. Even more proof is that the first rant you see on a rant book. The reason the hate comments are bad is because the authors who write the books can grow out of there "phase" and write extremely entertaining books. However if they are hated on in their early Wattpad life they might take things to the heart as most teenage girls do. I'm not trying to generalise or be stereotypical but the fact is girls go through a lot more emotional stuff than guys do, most of the time. I for one can see both ends of the spectrums. The first book I wrote on Wattpad was a comedy book based on a youtubers sketch which would label it as a "Fan-Fiction" I have since deleted it. I have also hated on the same genre in my rants book which I have also deleted. So to sum the question up I think that comments can be very good but you also have to ignore people the that would like to see you down.
Anyway I hope you guys liked this chapter and if it gets enough reads I might write another chapter like this. But in the meantime DJ out.
