Author's note: It is back by popular demand! This time I'm focusing on England and America more than the bad touch trio...so enjoy

"New Guidance counselor?" I muttered as I hung up the phone. Hopefully this one would be better than the last one. I ran a hand through my hair. It was now Friday, though that meant I'd have to manage through the weekend with the little food we had left due to how little money we had these days.

Yay....Stress....

"(name)?"

I looked down towards the little voice that tugged on my jeans. Huge green eyes looked back up at me.

"Hey, Lilly." I gave a smile as I crouched down to her small level. "What's up, Sweetie?"

"It's Arthur. He promised that he would show me some spells but....I can't find him." Her eyes brimmed with tears. I had never seen her cry, but I always imagines what it would be like. Her eyes were just.....so huge. She was a cutie and all but.....I imagined the house being flooded if she has a break down,

"I'll look for him, Sweetie." I replied, getting up and ruffling her short blonde hair.

Arthur was one of the most obedient children of he Orphanage, but I still couldn't stop him from doing his spells. I'm totally fine with him saying that he's playing with some flying mint bunny or unicorn, but when he says he's summoning a demon.....I get freaked.

What kind of eight year old kid tries to summon demon?

That's why, while I walked down the creepy, dark steps towards the basement, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. I love the little kid but....

"That's it. No more being scared by this." I coached myself as I slowly opened the door. "He's just eight years old...."

I trailed off when I saw a small, black cloaked blonde in the middle of swirling flames.

In the middle of swirling flames?

"Arthur!" I nearly lost my cool as I screamed at the poor kid. He jumped, startled, dropping the book he was holding on the dirty ground.

"(Name)!" He yelped. "I'm sorry, I was just trying to figure out how to curse Fran-" He clamped his mouth shut, pine green eyes wide. I had already heard enough to figure it out already.

"You were going to curse Francis?" I sternly said, placing a hand on my hip. Arthur's head bowed, probably afraid that he was going to get in trouble.

"Are you mad....?" he asked softly.

I sighed in exasperation.

"No, Arthur, I'm not mad.....Just confused. Why would you want to curse Francis?"

He toke a deep breath, pulling his hood off.

"The bloody git says my hair is out of style and his hair is better!" He growled, bushy brows furrowing. His voice trembled as he got to the next bit. "he said that even you thought my hair looked bad.....Do you think my hair looks bad, (name)?"

Seeing the little British boy standing there, tears brimming, made my heart break. I bent down on one knee and placed a hand on his head.

"i think you're hair is great, Arthur." I brushed his golden locks out of his eyes and smiled. "It fits you. It doesn't look bad at all. Francis is just Francis being a little mean."

I gave a little sigh, not realizing as I thought out loud.

"I don't really know what to think of those three...They're real trouble now a days....." I looked back at the Brit, realizing I had stared off into space for a while. Giving him one last smile, I stood up and pushed him towards the door. "Now go up there. Lilly's waiting for you!"

"Oh, yeah!" His face brightened as he scurried up the door, ready to charge up the steps before he stopped. He turned around suddenly, hugging my legs.

"Thank you, Mum. I love you."

I was too stunned to react as he ran up the stairs and to Lilly. Mum....? I wasn't supposed to BE Mum. I was supposed to be caretaker. Was I becoming too close to these kids? Arthur was supposed to be adopted by some other parents. Some other woman was destined to become Mum, not me.

Yet.....I almost wanted to. The fuzzy warm feeling crept in my stomach. He called me Mum....

The next day was Saturday. The New Guidance Counselor decided to come then.

"Good morning, Mister Knozz." I greeted. I heard some snickers from the kids and gave them a "hush" look.

"Good Morning, Ms. (last name)." The Large, lslander looking man replied, shaking my hand.

"Are you a sumo wrestler?" Alfred piped up. Mr. Knozz gave him a weird look as I face palmed.

"No." Mr. Knozz replied as he knelt down towards the five year old, very similar on how I like to talk to them.

"A.....Pro wrestler?"

"No."

"A....regular wrestler?"

"No." The man looked like he was running out of patience. "Let's talk more about you. How are you? Are you happy here?"

"Yeah! Mom takes care of us!" The blue eyes boy said, smiling brightly.

I blinked in astonishment. Where did this whole mom thing come from? I gulped, knowing that this could probably get me in trouble.

"Mom?" Mr. Knozz looked towards me. I shook my head.

"I have no idea where that came from." I said quickly.

"It better not happen again, Ms. (last name)." He said seriously, his dark eyes furrowed. "You're not here to be a mother, you're here to be a caretaker. They're to be adopted by women who will be their mothers. If they think you as their mother before they actually get one....you will only get in the way."

"Yes, sir." I tried not to mutter.

"Show me the rest of the house, please."

"Yes, sir."
