Overview:

They met on a vacation in Hawaii. She was there to try and heal her broken heart while he was trying to escape his fame. For four days they played the happy tourist couple. Only on her last night there did she succumb to his charms.

Brianna Morgan was known best in her town for dumping the towns most eligible bachelor when she found him cheating on her. Now she was stuck in the middle of planning her crazy best friends wedding. Two weeks before the wedding her reluctance to be involved became a stern no when she first spied the best man.

Chase Montgomery was so over being the most talked about man for his action movies. If he never made another movie again he would be happy. He needed something real. Something like the four days with that beautiful woman in Hawaii. The first woman to ever say no to him and the steamiest night of his life. She was gone in the morning and he never saw her again.

Idle thoughts of her became no more when he realised she was the Maid of Honour at his best mates wedding. Now all he had to do was convince her that their time spent vacationing together was enough to prove they were destined to be together.

Questions about the author...

When did you start writing?

I have been writing since I was a teenager. I was a very shy person and writing was an escape for me. Growing up on a farm gave me the greatest opportunity to be off with my imagination when I was exploring the countryside.

How would you describe your writing style?

I write the way I guess I would like to read a story. I’m a sucker for happy endings, I don’t think I could write a tragedy, even though I would love to try it.

Which song describes who you are? What’s your favourite verse?

Twelve Trees by The Sunny Cowgirls. They are an Australian country group. My favourite verse is the chorus. It makes me think of home.

What’s your biggest inspiration in life?

My biggest inspiration in my stories comes from every follower, vote and comment I have received on Wattpad. I wouldn’t have started writing again if not for this site. My inspiration in life comes from what I see around me. The beauty of nature, the often tragedy that life brings even while there is joy

Who are the special people in your life?

My husband and my cat. I couldn’t live without either of them.

Questions about 'The Chase Begins'...

What inspired you to create a character like Chase and Brianna?

Believe it or not but I was listening to a song while driving a train at work. It got me to thinking about the characters in the song. Soon enough those characters evolved on their own and a story was born, which ironically is nothing like the original song I was listening to.

What do you think is unique about your story?

I tend not to do predictable things in my stories. The number of times I got comments of ‘so now she’s going to be pregnant’ surprised me. Nobody seems to be able to guess what I’m writing next and that includes me sometimes!

Tell me something which nobody knows about Chase and Will.

They had matching superman costumes when they were kids ;)

One sentence to describe the friendship between Chase and Leo.

A bond that could never be undone.

One sentence to describe the friendship between Brianna and Andy.

Turbulent, crazy but filled with love.

What trait of Chase can you most relate to?

 His loyalty.

Which trait of Brianna do you most like?

Her stubbornness of all things.

Have you used any of your own experiences in the book?

Yes and no. The nickname thing that pops up in my story is because my husband never calls me by my name.

Which section did you most enjoy writing and why?

Strangely enough I enjoyed writing the Prologue and Chapter 1 the best! The introduction to both the main characters was fun to write.

What is your favourite quote from the book?

My favourite quote is ‘So the chase begins’. Its four simple words but describes the book basically. Plus its so easy to imagine Chase saying it as well.

Is there a message in your book that you want your readers to understand?

Be yourself and you’ll be surprised.
